1. Cornerstone (Noun): आधारशिला : something of great importance that everything else depends on



Synonyms: foundation, basis, keystone, core



Example Sentence: The technology, usually the cornerstone of sci-fi, is biomechanical rather than metallic.



2. Expedite (Verb): तेजी लाना : to make something happen more quickly



Synonyms: accelerate, hasten, quicken, rush



Antonyms: delay, hinder, impede, prolong

 

Example Sentence:  If you would like to expedite the shipping of your order, please pay the express shipping fee.

 

3. Abnegate (Verb): अस्वीकार करना / त्याग करना: to not allow yourself to have something, especially something you like or want, renounce or reject (something desired or valuable)



Synonyms: renounce, relinquish, abdicate, resign,



Antonyms: adhere, accept, admit



Example Sentence:  The athlete decided to abnegate the unhealthy snack even though she really wanted to have a bite.



4. Cavalier(Adjective): लापरवाह / उदासीन: showing a lack of proper concern; not considering other people's feelings or safety



Synonyms: careless, indifferent, nonchalant



Antonyms: humble, lowly, modest



Example Sentence:  The club’s owner showed a cavalier attitude to the licensing laws.



5. Multifarious (Adjective) : विविध : many and of various types



Synonyms: multiform, multiple, different



Antonyms: alike, identical



Example Sentence:  Spain is a composite of multifarious traditions and people.



6. Acrimonious (Adjective) : कटु / कड़वाहट से भरा : full of anger, arguments, and bad feeling



Synonyms: bitter, rancorous, caustic



Antonyms: caring, gentle, kind



Example Sentence:  Their marriage ended eight years ago in an acrimonious divorce.

 

7. Divulge (Verb): प्रकट करना : to make something secret known (private or sensitive information)



Synonyms: disclose, reveal, make known



Antonyms: conceal, enshroud, hide



Example Sentence: I do not want to divulge my plans at the moment.



8. Birds of the same feather (Idiom) : Similar or like-minded people.



Example Sentence:  Birds of a feather flock together, so I’m not really surprised that you two get along.



9-Grouse (Verb) : बड़बड़ाना: complain pettily



Synonyms: grumble, complain, moan



Antonyms: commend, compliment, plaudit



Example Sentence: She heard him grousing about his assistant.



10-Befuddled (Adjective) : भ्रमित / उलझा हुआ: unable to think clearly; confused or perplexed



Synonyms: bewildered, confused, dazed



Antonyms: clearheaded, conscious



Example Sentence: I was so befuddled while trying to find the marriage ceremony venue that I couldn’t reach there on time.
