This year, 25,71,002 (75.52%) students completed the UP Board Intermediate Exams, and 25,70, 987 (89.78%) pupils passed the UP Board High School Board Examination. Boys underperformed in both the class 10 and class 12 results. Around 58,84,667 pupils (10th- 31,16,487 & 12th- 27,68,180) registered this year; 4,31,571 of them chose not to sit for the High School and Intermediate exams. 28,63,621 class 10th students and 25,71,002 class 12th students, out of a total of 58,84,667 students, took the UP Board exams. In the press conference following the results, UPMSP also revealed the names of the Class 10 and Class 12 winners.
