*The number of seats mentioned above are provisional and may vary according to actual requirement of the Bank. Candidates can apply for engagement in one state only. Two or more applications from same candidate will be rejected. The Bank reserves the right to allot apprenticeship vacancy in any district of Selected State as per administrative requirement.
Abbreviations stand for: SC - Scheduled Caste; ST - Scheduled Tribe; OBC - Other Backward Classes; EWS – Economically Weaker Section; UR – Unreserved.
Training seats reserved for OBC category are available to OBC candidates belonging to ‘’Non-creamy layer’’. Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming in ‘’CREAMY LAYER’’, are not entitled for any relaxation/ reservation available to OBC category. They should indicate their category as Unreserved OR Unreserved (HI,OC,VI,ID) as applicable. OBC category candidate should submit the OBC ( Non Creamy-layer) certificate on format prescribed by Govt. of India, having “Non-Creamy Layer’’ clause issued during period 01.04.2025 to the date of document verification, if selected.
**RESERVATION FOR PERSONS WITH BENCHMARK DISABILITY (PwBD):Reservation for Persons with Disability is horizontal within the overall vacancies. Reservation has been provided to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as per section 34 of “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”, The seat is identified suitable for the Persons with undernoted categories of benchmark disabilities as defined in the Schedule of RPWD Act 2016:
Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.10.2025)
Nationality/ Citizenship
A candidate must be either (i) a Citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before Jan.1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that of a candidates belong to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India.
Age Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.10.2025
i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.10.1997 and not later than 01.10.2005 (both dates inclusive)
Maximum age indicated is for Unreserved and EWS candidates.
Please note that change of category submitted by the applicant will not be permitted at any stage.
Relaxation in upper age limit will be available as detailed below:

Candidates seeking age relaxation will be required to submit necessary certificate(s) in original along with photo- copies at the time of document verification or at any stage of the engagement process
Educational Qualification
Graduate degree from recognized University/ Institues approved by Govt. of India or its regulatory bodies. Candidate must have completed graduation and have Mark Sheets and Provisional/ Final Degree Certificate issued from the University/ Institute/ College for their graduation on or after 01.04.2021.
Duration of Training
Total Duration of training will be one year from the date of contract.
Stipend
A monthly stipend of Rs 15000/- (including subsidy amount if any by Govt. of India) shall be paid to the apprentice during the period of apprenticeship.
The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.
UCO bank will make payment of Rs 10,500/- into the apprentices account on monthly basis.
Government share of stipend of Rs 4500/- will be directly credited to the apprentices’ Bank account through DBT mode as per extant guidelines.
Test of local language
The candidates applying for apprenticeship vacancies of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the local languages of that State. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted during the process of document verification. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for apprentice. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the local language will not be required to undergo the language test.
Training Hours The daily hours of training will be as applicable to the clerical staff of the Bank.
Mode of Selection
Selection of candidates who apply for engagement of apprentices in the Bank after paying the requisite online exam fees shall have to undergo the selection process which would comprise the following:
(i) Online Test (objective type):
The online written examination structure is as follows:

Total duration of examination will be 60 minutes.
All eligible applicants who have paid the examination fee will receive the intimation from BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) with an online examination link, login credential on day before the date of the examination. Failure to register for the written test will result in the candidate being disqualified from further participation in the selection process. Information regarding the written test, including the date, centre, pattern of test, will be provided on the Bank’s website. Candidates are required to regularly check the website for updates.
Candidates will be required to score a minimum percentage mark on aggregate as decided by the Bank (For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). There will be no minimum qualifying marks for individual subject.
Merit list will be drawn State wise and category wise. Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their written marks in descending order in respective States and Categories. In case more than one candidate scores same marks as cut-off marks in the merit list (common marks at cut off point) such candidate will be ranked in the merit list according to their age in descending order in respective States and categories.
In case more than one candidate score same marks (same marks at cut off point) the candidate who is senior by age will be ranked higher in the merit list.
Results of the candidates who have provisionally qualified for selection will be made available on the Bank’s website.
Engagement of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank.
(ii) Wait List:
Wait list of successful candidates may be declared by Bank at its own discretion to meet the requirement of the Bank in respect of non acceptance/non-reporting by the selected candidates from the first merit list.
(iii) Bank reserves the right to change (cancel/ modify/ add) any of the criteria, method of selection and provisional allotment etc.
(iv) PROCEDURE AND CONDITIONS FOR APPLYING FOR ONLINE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
a) Only provisionally eligible candidates who have registered in NATS portal and applied for engagement as apprentices in UCO Bank in NATS portal will receive email communication from BFSI SSC to make payment of requisite examination fees / intimation charges through the ONLINE mode only, from 21-10-2025 to 05-11-2025 and no other mode of payment is acceptable.
b) Candidates can apply for engagement from only ONE State/UT which is preferably their home State/UT.
c) Application / Examination fee/ Intimation Charges (Non-Refundable):

d) Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fee once paid will NOT be refunded under any circumstances nor can it be adjusted against any other engagement process.
Note:
i. Candidates must register for the written test to partcipate. Failure to register for the written test will result in the candidate being disqualified from further participation in the selection process.
ii. The details to be entered for registration of online examination should match with the one entered on NATS portal. Any change/alteration may disqualify the candidature.
iii. Incomplete registration in any respect will not be considered as valid. No communication will be entertained in this regard.
iv. Any information submitted by an applicant during the process shall be binding on the candidate personally and he/she shall be liable for prosecution/ civil consequences, in case the information/ details furnished by him/ her are found to be false at a later stage.
v. The Bank reserves the right to reject any application not suiting the Bank’s requirements without assigning any reason whatsoever and call only the candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria.
(v) EXAMINATION LINK
a) All eligible applicants who have paid the examination fee will receive the intimation from BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) with an online examination link, login credential on day before the date of the examination.
b) All applicants will have to give the online examination on the given date and time using the own camera enabled desktop / laptop or tablet or smartphone from their own residence but have to maintain isolation from other family members during period of the examination.
c) All applicants have to display (for capturing image) the Aadhar Card as ID Proof which they have uploaded on the NATS apprenticeship portal.
d) Except for PwBD candidates, no candidate will be allowed to have anyone else near him/her while giving online examination. The guidelines for the same shall be provided by the exam conducting agency.
Note: Other detailed information regarding the examination process will be given in the “Information Handout”, and the same will be made available to all eligible candidates through email to be sent by BFSI SSC.
Procedure for Application: ONLINE
Candidates are required to have a valid Personal E-Mail ID and Contact Number. It should be kept active till completion of this engagement process. Bank may send call letters for written test/ personal interview on the registered E-Mail ID. In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal E-Mail ID, he/she should create his/her personal E-Mail ID before applying.
HOW TO APPLY
i. Candidates can apply online, and no other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates should mandatorily first register themselves, if eligible, in the apprenticeship portals of Government of India viz NATS portal https://nats.education.gov.in (Navigate to the “Student Register/Login” section)
ii. In case the candidates are facing issues in getting themselves registered they are advised to go through the help manual available on the respective apprenticeship portals. For NATS portal refer to “Candidate User Manual” on https://nats.education.gov.in/assets/manual/student_manual.pdf
iii. All candidates are supposed to remember their respective login id and passwords of the apprenticeship portals as applicable to them, as they will be repetitively visiting the apprenticeship portals for various activities till their completion of the apprenticeship program
iv. For NATS portal, candidates can view the Apprenticeship Advertisement of “UCO Bank” after login into the portal by visiting https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php.
v. It is very IMPORTANT for all candidates who have applied to MAKE NOTE of their Enrolment Id (issued by NATS portal) for all the future correspondence.
vi. All Candidates who have applied successfully for the Apprenticeship Opportunity/Advertisement on NATS will receive an email from BFSI SSC (info@bfsissc.com) inviting them to give required details about the caste category, choice of districts for their training, etc. and make the payment of the Application Fees.
vii. Candidates should scan their photograph, signature & documents as detailed under guidelines for respective apprenticeship portals.
viii. Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves as no change in any of the data filled in the online application will be possible/ entertained at a later stage. Prior to submission of the online application, candidates are advised to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required.
ix. No change is permitted after clicking on SUBMIT button. Visually Impaired candidates will be responsible for getting the details filled in/carefully verifying, in the online application and ensuring that the same are correct prior to submission as no change is possible after submission.
x. The name of the candidate should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates/ mark sheets. Any change/ alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
xi. An online application which is incomplete in any respect and unsuccessful Application fee payment will not be considered as valid.
xii. Candidates shall also be required to submit supporting documents such as Date of Birth Proof, Graduation/Mandatory Qualification Certificate/s, Other Certifications, etc. at the time of registering on the apprenticeship portals or as and when
advised by the Bank or BFSI SSC.
xiii. Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection / inability / failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on internet or website.
xiv. UCO Bank does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control UCO Bank.
xv. Please note that all the particulars mentioned in the online application including Name of the Candidate, Category, Date of Birth, Address, Mobile Number, Email ID, Centre of Examination, etc. will be considered as final and no change/modifications will be allowed after submission of the online application form.
xvi. Candidates are hence requested to fill in the online application form with utmost care as no correspondence regarding change of details will be entertained. Bank will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of furnishing of incorrect and incomplete details in the application or omission to provide the required details in the application form.

1. The name of the candidate should be filled correctly in the application as it appears in OVD/certificates/Mark sheets. Any change/alteration may disqualify the candidature.

4. Please note that the above procedure is the only valid procedure for applying. No other mode of application would be accepted and such applications would be rejected.
5. Not more than one application should be submitted by a candidate. In case of multiple applications, only the last valid (complete) application will be considered.
6. Any information submitted by an applicant in his/ her online application form shall be binding on the candidate personally and he/she shall be liable for prosecution/ civil consequences, in case the information/ details furnished by him/ her are found to be false at a later stage.
