1. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has received India's first 'Silver Notice' issued by Interpol, which will enable the investigating agency to trace the proceeds of crime related to the French embassy visa 'fraud' case, allegedly hidden in various countries. Interpol was formed at the Second International Police Congress, Vienna, 1923 as the International Criminal Police Commission (ICPC).

2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday issued an official
statement ahead of his three-nation visit to Cyprus, Canada and Croatia. He
said this is an opportunity to enhance global understanding to combat terrorism
in all its forms and manifestations. Nicosia is the capital and largest city of
Cyprus. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Croatia. Prime

3. Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying
Rajiv Ranjan Singh said India is the second largest fish producer in the world,
with inland production growing 142 per cent to 147 lakh tonnes since 2013-14.
The average annual growth rate of the fisheries sector is 9 per cent, which is
the highest among all agriculture-related sectors.

4. The Union Power Ministry is considering making it mandatory for
new air conditioners (ACs) in India to operate only in a temperature range of
20 degrees Celsius to 28 degrees Celsius in a bid to reduce energy consumption.

Kerala, Bihar and Odisha and on PSB alliance with National Farmers Welfare
Programme Implementation Society were signed at a conference on Agri Stack.

6. Maruti Suzuki
India and Equitas Small Finance Bank are working together. They will provide
vehicle financing options to customers. The aim of this partnership is to make
Maruti Suzuki vehicles more accessible. Equitas Small Finance Bank will use its
customer base to provide financing solutions. This collaboration is expected to
increase customer satisfaction.

7. The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare organized a
National Conference on Agri Stack: Converting Data into Delivery in New Delhi.
The conference served as a strategic platform for senior officials from key
stakeholders from the Centre and States to discuss the progress, challenges and
future roadmap for implementation of Agri Stack under Digital Agriculture
Mission (DAM).

8. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) recently conducted its second
bond buyback auction of the current financial year (FY26). The RBI received
bids worth Rs 53,031 crore against the notified bid amount of Rs 26,000 crore.
A buyback occurs when the RBI, on behalf of the government, repurchases
existing government securities (G-Secs) from the market before maturity to
inject durable liquidity into the banking system.

observed across the world, an important initiative focused on highlighting and
combating abuse, exploitation and neglect faced by senior citizens. First
marked by INPEA and WHO in 2006. Recognized by the United Nations General
Assembly Resolution 66/127 in 2011.

10. The Axiom-4 mission is very important for India, as Group
Captain Shubhanshu Shukla will be the first Indian astronaut to go to the
International Space Station. Shubhanshu Shukla was born in Lucknow. He was
commissioned in the Indian Air Force in June 2006. He has more than 2000 hours
of flying experience. He has flown fighter jets like Sukhoi-30 MK 1, MiG-21,
MiG-29, Jaguar, Hawk, Dornier and AN-32.
