 1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rising North East Investors Summit 2025 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The Rising North East Investors Summit 2025 is a two-day event to be held on May 23 and 24. The agenda of the two-day summit includes ministerial sessions, business-to-government (B2G) and business-to-business (B2B) meetings, and a dedicated exhibition area.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने नई दिल्ली के भारत मंडपम में राइजिंग नॉर्थ ईस्ट इन्वेस्टर्स समिट 2025 का उद्घाटन किया। राइजिंग नॉर्थ ईस्ट इन्वेस्टर्स समिट 2025 23 और 24 मई को आयोजित होने वाला दो दिवसीय कार्यक्रम है।  दो दिवसीय शिखर सम्मेलन के एजेंडे में मंत्रिस्तरीय सत्र, बिजनेस-टू-गवर्नमेंट (B2G) और बिजनेस-टू-बिजनेस (B2B) बैठकें और एक समर्पित प्रदर्शनी क्षेत्र शामिल हैं।

2. The Uttar Pradesh government has launched Vistadome coach service connecting Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary in Bahraich district to Dudhwa Tiger Reserve in Pilibhit, making it the first state in India to offer jungle safari through Vistadome train. The scheme is part of the “One Destination, Three Forests” theme by the Eco Tourism Board of Uttar Pradesh.

उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने बहराइच जिले में कतर्नियाघाट वन्यजीव अभयारण्य को पीलीभीत में दुधवा टाइगर रिजर्व से जोड़ने वाली विस्टाडोम कोच सेवा शुरू की है, जिससे यह विस्टाडोम ट्रेन के माध्यम से जंगल सफारी की पेशकश करने वाला भारत का पहला राज्य बन गया है। यह योजना उत्तर प्रदेश के इको टूरिज्म बोर्ड द्वारा “एक गंतव्य, तीन वन” विषय का हिस्सा है ।

3. India Post Payments Bank's (IPPB) partnership with Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL) is a major milestone in India's drive towards deeper financial inclusion. This collaboration empowers millions of IPPB customers by providing digital access to personal, business and property loans, which will especially benefit the rural and underbanked population.

4. The Reserve Bank of India intervenes in the currency market to stabilize the rupee, especially in times of volatility. In an extraordinary move to protect the Indian rupee against fluctuations in the global currency market, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) sold a record $398.71 billion of foreign currency on a gross basis in FY 2024-25. This is the largest intervention ever by the central bank.

5. PM will chair the 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog at Bharat Mandapam, which will focus on the theme "Developed States for Developed India @ 2047". The aim of this meeting is to unite the states and union territories as "Team India".

6. Union Defence Minister and UP CM inaugurated India's largest titanium and superalloy material plant in Lucknow.This titanium plant is operated by Aeroalloy Technologies Limited, a subsidiary of PTC Industries Limited.

केंद्रीय रक्षा मंत्री और यूपी के मुख्यमंत्री ने लखनऊ में भारत के सबसे बड़े टाइटेनियम और सुपरलॉय मैटेरियल प्लांट का उद्घाटन किया। यह टाइटेनियम प्लांट पीटीसी इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड की सहायक कंपनी एयरोअलॉय टेक्नोलॉजीज लिमिटेड द्वारा संचालित है।

7. The Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the transfer of Rs 2.69 lakh crore as surplus to the government for FY 2024-25, the RBI said in a statement on May 23. This figure is higher than the FY24 transfer, though lower than some market estimates for FY25.

भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) के केंद्रीय बोर्ड ने वित्त वर्ष 2024-25 के लिए सरकार को अधिशेष के रूप में 2.69 लाख करोड़ रुपये के हस्तांतरण को मंजूरी दे दी है, आरबीआई ने 23 मई को एक बयान में कहा। यह आंकड़ा वित्त वर्ष 24 के हस्तांतरण से अधिक है, हालांकि वित्त वर्ष 25 के कुछ बाजार अनुमानों से कम है।

8. Public sector banks are set to introduce a unified format and standard operating procedure for disciplinary action against employees, with an aim to bring uniformity across public sector banks. A working group is finalising the guidelines, likely to come into effect in June, incorporating best practices and suggestions from an internal committee.

9. The US House has approved the 'One Big, Beautiful Bill Act', giving concrete shape to Donald Trump's economic plan. One of its key features is the reduction of remittance tax from 5% to 3.5%, providing relief to millions of foreign workers in the US who regularly send money to their home countries.

10. Uttar Pradesh has set two world records by building a 10 km long crash barrier and laying a 34.24 lane km long bituminous (asphalt) concrete road in 24 hours. This achievement earned the state a place in the Golden Book of World Records, Asia Book of Records and Indian Book of Records.
