SBI PO 2020 Official Notification Out 

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (POs) in State Bank of India. The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India.

1. Before applying, candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the post as on the date of eligibility. 

2. The process of Registration is complete only when fee is deposited with the Bank through Online mode on or before the last date (04.12.2020) for payment of fee. 

3. Candidates are advised to check Bank's website https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers regularly for details and updates. No separate intimation/ advertisement etc. will be issued in case of any change/ update.

SBI PO 2020: Eligibility Criteria

Essential Academic Qualifications (as on 31.12.2020): 

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. 

Age Limit: (As on 01.04.2020): Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2020 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.1999 and not earlier than 02.04.1990 (both days inclusive)

APPLICATION FEE AND INTIMATION CHARGE (Non-Refundable): 

Application Fee will be 750/- for General/ EWS/ OBC candidates and ‘Nil’ for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates. Application Fee once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

SBI PO 2020: SELECTION PROCEDURE

The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-tier process: 

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: 

Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

Phase-II: Main Examination: 

Main Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer. (i) Objective Test: The duration of objective test is 3 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of total 200 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

SBI PO 2020: HOW TO APPLY

Candidates can apply online only from 14.11.2020 to 04.12.2020. No other mode of application will be accepted.

SBI PO 2020: SALARY 

Presently, the starting basic pay is 27,620/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time (the emoluments are likely to be revised shortly).
