1. Mukesh Ambani, Arundhati Katju, Menaka Guruswamy among TIME's list of 100 most influential people
Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and public-interest litigators Arundhati Katju and Menaka Guruswamy, who spearheaded a historic legal battle for LGBTQ rights in India, are among the Indians who have been named by TIME magazine in its prestigious list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2019.
The Time 100 Most Influential People 2019 list was released, naming the world's most influential pioneers, leaders, titans, artists and icons of the year.

टाइम मैगजीन ने दुनिया के 100 सबसे प्रभावशाली लोगों की सूची में तीन भारतीयों को शुमार किया है। इनमें रिलायंस इडस्ट्रीज के चेयरमैन मुकेश अंबानी , भारत में एलजीबीटीयू (लेस्बियन , गे , बाईसेक्सुअल और ट्रांसजेंडर) समुदाय के हक के लिए लड़ने वाली वकील अरुंधति काटजू और मेनका गुरुस्वामी शामिल हैं।
टाइम मैगजीन ने 2019 के शीर्ष 100 सबसे प्रभावशाली लोगों की सूची बुधवार को जारी की। सूची में शीर्ष नेताओं , कलाकारों , दिग्गजों और आइकन शामिल हैं।

Boxing Federation of India (BFI) Secretary General Jay Kowli has been elected as a member of the Asian Boxing Confederation's (ASBC) Executive Committee.

Ravinder Kumar Passi has been elevated to the post of chairman of the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), the body said.
Passi, who was previously the vice chairman of EPCH, has taken charge as the chairman from his predecessor O P Prahladka.

हस्तशिल्प निर्यात संवर्धन परिषद (ईपीसीएच) ने रविंदर कुमार पासी को पदोन्नत करके चेयरमैन नियुक्ति किया है। परिषद ने यह जानकारी दी।
इससे पहले पासी ईपीसीएच के वाइस चेयरमैन थे। पासी ने ओपी प्रहलादका की जगह चेयरमैन का कार्यभार संभाला।
5. Nielsen India projects FMCG Industry growth at 11-12% in 2019
Market research firm Nielsen India expects growth in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector to be in the range of 11-12 percent in 2019, two percent lower than 2018's growth.

भारत के तेजी से बढ़ते तत्काल खपत उपभोक्ता माल (एफएमसीजी) उद्योग के विकास की गति धीमी होकर वर्ष 2019 में 11-12 प्रतिशत रह जाने की संभावना है, जो वर्ष 2018 के मुकाबले लगभग दो प्रतिशत कम होगा। नील्सन की एक रिपोर्ट में यह जानकारी दी गई है।
