Total of A and D = 12x = 3744

So, that according to question:

solving both equations we get y = 4 

माना 1 पेन का मूल्य = x तथा 1 पेंसिल का मूल्य = y है ।
अतः प्रश्नानुसार,

2x + 2y = 48 -------------------------------( II )
दोनो समीकरणों को हल करने पर हमे प्राप्त होता हैः y = 4
