1. Indian-American California Senator Kamala Harris has topped the prestigious ‘Foreign Policy’ magazine’s 50 Leading Global Thinkers list. US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley and stand-up comedian Hasan Minhaj have also made it to the list.
कैलीफोर्निया की भारतीय मूल की अमेरिकी सीनेटर कमला हैरिस प्रतिष्ठित 'फॉरेन पॉलिसी' पत्रिका के 50 प्रमुख वैश्विक विचारकों की सूची में शीर्ष पर रही हैं। इस सूची में संयुक्त राष्ट्र में अमेरिकी राजदूत निक्की हैले और हास्य कलाकार हसन मिन्हाज ने भी जगह बनाई है।
2. Indian-American Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal has figured in the Politicos Power List for the year 2018, for having assumed the mantle of a House "leader of resistance". Jayapal has been placed fifth among 18 people in the Power List.

5. American rating agency Fitch Ratings has cut India's GDP growth forecast for the current fiscal to 6.7 per cent from the earlier projected 6.9 per cent. The agency has also cut India's GDP growth forecast for 2018-19 fiscal year to 7.3 per cent from 7.4 per cent.
अमेरिकी रेटिंग एजेंसी फिच रेटिंग ने मौजूदा वित्त वर्ष में भारत की जीडीपी वृद्धि दर का अनुमान 6.9 प्रतिशत से घटाकर 6.7 प्रतिशत कर दिया है। एजेंसी ने वित्त वर्ष 2018-19 में भी भारत की वृद्धि दर 7.4 प्रतिशत से घटाकर 7.3 प्रतिशत कर दी है।

ऊर्जा क्षेत्र की कंपनी रिलायंस पावर ने बताया कि एशियाई विकास बैंक (एडीबी) ने बांग्लादेश में एलएनजी टर्मिनल परियोजना और 750 मेगावाट की बिजली संयंत्र परियोजना के निर्माण के लिए कुल 58.30 करोड़ डॉलर के ऋण और आंशिक जोखिम गारंटी को मंजूरी दे दी है।
