CAIT launches GST platform for traders
In its pursuit to empower trading community with on boarding on GST taxation system and with an aim to make 10,000 traders across the country as Master Trainers, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) began its Mission GST at New Delhi by holding its first ‘Train The Trainer Conference’ of trade leaders of North Indian states.
About 300 leading trade leaders from Delhi, UP, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh attended the conference.

जीएसटी कराधान प्रणाली के लिए व्यापारी समुदाय को तैयार करने एवं उन्हें आवश्यक जानकारी मुहैया कराने के साथ ही देश भर में 10,000 व्यापारियों को मास्टर ट्रेनर के रूप में प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए कन्फेडरेशन ऑफ आल इंडिया ट्रेडर्स (सीएआईटी) ने नई दिल्ली में 'मिशन जीएसटी' मुहिम की शुरुआत की। इसके तहत उत्तर भारतीय राज्यों के व्यापारी नेताओं के 'ट्रेन दी ट्रेनर' सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया।
इस कॉन्फ्रेंस में दिल्ली, यूपी, राजस्थान, मध्य प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड, हिमाचल प्रदेश, पंजाब, हरियाणा और चंडीगढ़ के करीब 300 प्रमुख कारोबारियों ने भाग लिया।
Asian Athletics Cships in Bhubaneswar to be biggest ever
More than 1000 athletes from 45 countries will take part in 42 disciplines in the Asian Athletics Championships to be held here from July 6-9, making it the biggest ever in the competitions history.
The championships will also serve as a qualifying event for this years IAAF World Championships, to be held in London in August.
एशियाई एथलेटिक्स चैम्पियनशिप में भाग लेंगे रिकार्ड एथलीट
ओड़िशा की राजधानी भुवनेश्वर में 6 से 9 जुलाई के बीच होने वाली 22वीं एशियाई एथलेटिक्स चैंपियनशिप में 45 देशों के लगभग 1000 एथलीट हिस्सा लेंगे जो कि इस प्रतियोगिता के इतिहास में सबसे बड़ा दल होगा।
यह चैंपियनशिप अगस्त में लंदन में होने वाली आईएएएफ विश्व चैंपियनशिप के लिये क्वालीफाईंग प्रतियोगिता भी होगी।
Nadda conferred WHO Director-General’s Spl Recognition Award for global tobacco control
Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare J P Nadda was conferred the WHO 'Director General's Special Recognition Award' for global tobacco control.
Conferring the award, Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh, Regional Director, WHO South-East Asia said, Noting that more than 100 million lives had been lost to tobacco in the 20th century, she stressed on tobacco control at the initial stages and that the focus should be on youngsters.
तंबाकू नियंत्रण के लिए नड्डा को डब्ल्यूएचओ का विशेष पुरस्कार
देश में तंबाकू नियंत्रण के लिए सघन प्रयास करने के वास्ते स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्री जे पी नड्डा को विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन(डब्ल्यूएचओ) के ‘डायरेक्टर जनरल्स स्पेशल रिकगनिशन अवार्ड’ से सम्मानित किया गया।
'डब्ल्यूएचओ दक्षिण-पूर्व एशिया' की क्षेत्रीय निदेशक डाक्टर पूनम क्षेत्ररपाल सिंह ने एक कार्यक्रम में श्री नड्डा को यह पुरस्कार प्रदान करते हुए कहा कि 20 वीं सदी में दुनिया में दस करोड़ से ज्यादा लोग तंबाकू सेवन की वजह से मौत के मुंह में समा गए। यह एक गंभीर खतरा है जिसे शुरुआती स्तर पर ही रोका जाना चाहिए।
Kohli sole Indian in Forbes list of highest paid athletes
Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli is the sole sportsperson from the country to feature among the world's 100 highest paid athletes in the latest Forbes list topped by soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Kohli, 28, has been ranked 89th on the 2017 Forbes list of 'The World's highest paid athletes' with a total pay of USD 22 million that includes USD three million from salary and winnings and another 19 million from endorsements.
सर्वाधिक कमाई वाले खिलाड़ियों की फोर्ब्स की सूची में कोहली एकमात्र भारतीय
भारतीय क्रिकेट कप्तान विराट कोहली फोर्ब्स की दुनिया के सर्वाधिक कमाई करने वाले 100 खिलाड़ियों की सूची में जगह बनाने वाले एकमात्र भारतीय है जिसमें फुटबाल स्टार क्रिस्टियानो रोनाल्डो शीर्ष पर हैं।
फोर्ब्स की 2017 की ‘दुनिया में सर्वाधिक कमाई करने वाले खिलाड़ियों’ की सूची में 28 साल के कोहली 89वें नंबर पर हैं। उनकी कुल कमाई दो करोड़ 20 लाख डालर है जिसमें 30 लाख डालर वेतन और पुरस्कार के अलावा एक करोड़ 90 लाख डालर विज्ञापन से कमाई है।
