Justice Leila Seth, 1st woman CJ of state high court, dead
Justice (retd) Leila Seth, the first woman chief justice of a state high court in the country and mother of celebrated author Vikram Seth, has died. She was 86.
The eminent jurist was also an author and her autobiography 'On Balance' was a bestseller Seth had also authored 'Talking of Justice: People's Rights in Modern India', published in 2014, which looked at critical issues that she had engaged with in a legal career spanning over 50 years.

देश के किसी उच्च न्यायालय की पहली महिला मुख्य न्यायाधीश और प्रसिद्ध लेखक विक्रम सेठ की मां न्यायमूर्ति :सेवानिवृत्त: लीला सेठ का निधन हो गया। वह 86 साल थीं।
ए सूटेबल ब्याॅय उपन्यास के रचनाकार की मां लीला खुद एक लेखिका थीं और उनकी आत्मकथा आॅन बैलेंस एक बेस्टसेलर रही है। उन्होंने 2014 में प्रकाशित हुई किताब टाॅकिंग आॅफ जस्टिस: पीपुल्स राइट्स इन माॅडर्न इंडिया भी लिखी है जिसमें उन्होंने 50 साल से ज्यादा लंबे अपने कानूनी करियर में अपने सामने आए महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों की बात की है।

ग्रेट ब्रिटेन ने फाइनल में गत चैम्पियन आस्ट्रेलिया पर 4 - 3 से जीत दर्ज कर 23 साल के बाद सुल्तान अजलन शाह कप खिताब अपने नाम किया।
ग्रेट ब्रिटेन ने 1994 में एकमात्र खिताब हासिल किया था, उसने तब से पहली बार फाइनल में प्रवेश किया और आठवें मिनट में ही बढ़त हासिल कर ली। ब्रिटेन ने भारत के अंतिम लीग मैच में मलेशिया के खिलाफ खराब प्रदर्शन के कारण फाइनल में प्रवेश किया।
