1 IIT Kharagpur has launched an initiative called Impact RISE
(Research, Innovation, Skilling and Entrepreneurship), which aims to promote
sustainable technology, management practices, and social change. The program is
based on four pillars: research, innovation, skills, and entrepreneurship.
Impact RISE includes missions focused on climate change resilience in the
Sundarbans.

2 Union Minister Shivraj
Singh Chouhan launched "Nai Chetna 4.0," a national campaign focused
on gender equality and women's empowerment. The month-long initiative is being
organized by DAY-NRLM (Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods
Mission) under the Ministry of Rural Development. The campaign aims to
strengthen community action against gender-based violence.

3 The Andhra Pradesh
government has approved the creation of three new districts - Polavaram,
Markapuram and Madanapalle - taking the total number of districts in the state
to 29 from 26. The decision, approved by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu,
includes the creation of five new revenue divisions - Nakkapalli, Addanki,
Pileru, Banganapalle and Madakasira, as well as a new division, Pedda
Harivanam, carved out of Adoni (Kurnool).

4 A Supreme
Court panel has released a comprehensive report on prison reforms, revealing
deep systemic flaws in the investigation of custodial deaths. According to the
National Human Rights Commission, there were 11,650 custodial deaths in India
between 2016 and 2022. Uttar Pradesh alone recorded 2,630 custodial deaths, the
highest in the country.

private space sector. The Prime Minister also unveiled Vikram-I, Skyroot's
first orbital rocket capable of placing satellites into orbit and strengthening
India's commercial launch capabilities. Skyroot Aerospace was founded by Pawan
Chandana and Bharat Dhaka.

6. The Union Cabinet approved a flagship scheme to promote the
production of Singed Rare Earth Permanent Magnets at a cost of Rs 7,280 crore,
which aims to set up integrated domestic magnet production of 6,000 MTPA. The
scheme will, for the first time, set up integrated magnet manufacturing units,
which will be allotted to five beneficiaries through global competitive
bidding, with a tenure of 7 years.

7 Bandhan Bank's board has approved the sale of identified
non-performing assets (NPAs) and written-off loan portfolio worth over ₹6,900
crore through a bidding and auction process. NPA stands for Non-Performing
Asset, which is a loan or advance given by a bank or financial institution
where the principal or interest has not been repaid for more than 90 days.

8. The India Internet Governance Forum (IIGF) 2025, the fifth edition of India's leading multi-stakeholder internet policy forum, will be held in New Delhi on November 27-28, 2025. 9. The government is set to
raise the minimum selling price (MSP) of sugar by about 23% to ₹38 per kg, the
first increase in nearly seven years. The move, coupled with a potential rise
in ethanol procurement prices, is aimed at increasing liquidity for sugar mills
and helping them pay sugarcane farmers. The minimum selling price (MSP) is the
lowest price at which a product must be sold to cover the cost of production
and all other expenses.

10 The Asian Development
Bank has approved a $400 million results-based loan program for Maharashtra to
develop a climate-resilient, low-carbon, and safe road network. The initiative
will expand all-weather roads in 34 districts, particularly in vulnerable
areas, and connect rural communities to essential services and markets. The
program also emphasizes road safety, climate change resilience, and gender
equality, benefiting more than 1.7 million people.

विकास बैंक ने महाराष्ट्र के लिए जलवायु-अनुकूल,
कम कार्बन उत्सर्जन वाले और सुरक्षित सड़क नेटवर्क विकसित करने हेतु
400 मिलियन डॉलर के परिणाम-आधारित ऋण कार्यक्रम को मंज़ूरी दी है। यह पहल 34 जिलों
में, विशेष रूप से संवेदनशील क्षेत्रों में, बारहमासी सड़कों का विस्तार करेगी और ग्रामीण समुदायों को आवश्यक सेवाओं
