1 Union Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah launched two digital
platforms – Sahakar Digi Pay and Sahakar Digi Loan – that will mark a major
milestone in the digital transformation of Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs). Sahakar
Digi Pay enables seamless digital transactions, while Sahakar Digi Loan
facilitates easy credit access for individuals and small businesses.

2 Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil announced the 6th National
Water Awards 2024 at Shram Shakti Bhawan in New Delhi, honouring 46 winners
across 10 categories. The awards are organised by the Department of Water
Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation (DoWR, RD & GR) under
the Ministry of Jal Shakti.Maharashtra won the first prize in the Best State
category.

Ethiopia is set to be selected as the
host country for the 2027 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP32) in
Addis Ababa. This decision was made in principle during COP30 in Brazil, as
announced by COP30 President André Correia do Lago. The host selection for
COP31 in 2026 is still uncertain, with Australia and Turkey competing for the
bid.

Minister Manohar Lal inaugurated India's first 3 MW vanadium redox flow battery
at NTPC NETRA in Noida, which will promote long-term energy storage. The system
promotes renewable energy integration and grid flexibility, marking a milestone
in the clean energy sector. It is India's largest public sector power
generation company. Established in 1975 with the objective of increasing
electricity generation in India.

5. Punjab
has become the first state in the country to implement the revised BharatNet
plan across the state. This will allow live monitoring of this border state from
anywhere in the country. The BharatNet plan aims to provide broadband
connectivity to all gram panchayats, as well as homes and institutions in the
state. It also envisions e-health and e-governance services in rural areas.

6. India's position has improved in the
Global Climate Risk Index (CRI) 2025, released by Germanwatch. According to the
report, India now ranks 9th in the long-term index (1995–2024) and 15th in the
annual index 2024. This represents an improvement from last year, when India
ranked 8th and 10th, respectively.

7 "Sounds of
Kumbha," a spiritual music album inspired by the Maha Kumbh festival, has
been nominated in the Best Global Music Album category for the 68th Grammy
Awards. The album is presented by singer-composer Siddhant Bhatia. It was
commissioned by the Uttar Pradesh government as part of a cultural promotion
initiative. The first annual Grammy Awards ceremony was held on May 4, 1959.
Pandit Ravi Shankar was the first Indian to win a Grammy Award, receiving the
honor in 1968.

8. The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe), in collaboration with SIDBI Venture Capital Limited (SVCL), has launched a ₹1,000 crore venture capital fund to encourage the growth of India's private space ecosystem. The fund, which has received formal approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), will provide seed and growth capital to startup companies involved in space technology — including launch systems, satellite manufacturing, payload development, and downstream applications.

9. India's External Affairs
Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar is currently attending the G7 Foreign Ministers'
Meeting in Niagara, Canada. The G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting was held from
November 11-12, 2025, and was attended by representatives from Canada, France,
Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European
Union (EU). The G7 was established in Rambouillet, France, in 1975 following
the 1973 oil crisis.

10 Sikkim is hosting the
13th International Tourism Haat (ITM) in Gangtok from November 13 to 16, 2025.
It is an annual event organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India
to showcase the tourism potential of the Northeast region to domestic and
international audiences. This year, the event will highlight the rich natural
beauty, cultural diversity, and adventure tourism opportunities of the
"Ashta Lakshmi" region.
