1 The Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) built fast patrol vessel ICGS Akshar has been inducted into the Indian Coast Guard, the second in the series of 8 ships under the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiative. The 51.43-metre long and 330-tonne vessel can travel 1,500 nautical miles non-stop at a speed of over 27 knots and will play a vital role in various tasks like coastal patrol, anti-smuggling and search and rescue operations.

गोवा शिपयार्ड लिमिटेड (जीएसएल) द्वारा निर्मित तीव्र गश्ती पोत आईसीजीएस अक्षर को भारतीय तटरक्षक बल में शामिल कर लिया गया है, जो 'आत्मनिर्भर भारत' पहल के तहत आठ जहाजों की श्रृंखला में दूसरा है। 51.43 मीटर लंबा और 330 टन वज़नी यह पोत 27 समुद्री मील से अधिक की गति से बिना रुके 1,500 समुद्री मील की यात्रा कर सकता है और तटीय गश्त, तस्करी-रोधी और खोज एवं बचाव अभियानों जैसे विभिन्न कार्यों में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा।

2   The bilateral Exercise Konkan-2025 between the Indian Navy and the British Royal Navy commenced today off the west coast of India. The exercise reaffirms the commitment of both nations to secure, open and inclusive seas and exemplifies the strategic partnership enshrined in the India-UK Vision 2035. The exercise will be conducted in two phases from 5 to 12 October 2025. The bilateral naval Exercise Konkan off the west coast of India commenced in 2004.

भारतीय नौसेना और ब्रिटेन की रॉयल नेवी के बीच द्विपक्षीय अभ्यास कोंकण-2025 आज भारत के पश्चिमी तट पर शुरू हुआ। ये अभ्यास सुरक्षित, खुले और समावेशी समुद्र के लिए दोनो देशों की प्रतिबद्धता की पुष्टि करता है और भारत-ब्रिटेन दृष्टिकोण-2035 में निहित रणनीतिक साझेदारी का उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करता है। यह अभ्यास 5 से 12 अक्टूबर 2025 तक दो चरणों में आयोजित किया जाएगा। भारत के पश्चिमी तट पर द्विपक्षीय नौसैनिक अभ्यास कोंकण की शुरुआत वर्ष 2004 में हुई थी

 3. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday launched the Chief Minister's Rural Bus Service in Jagdalpur, Bastar district, Chhattisgarh. The service will serve approximately 250 villages across seven districts of the Bastar division. The initiative aims to provide better transportation facilities in rural areas and connect villages to cities.

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने शनिवार को छत्तीसगढ़ के बस्तर जिले के जगदलपुर में मुख्यमंत्री ग्रामीण बस सेवा का शुभारंभ किया। इस सेवा की शुरुआत बस्तर संभाग के सातों जिलों के लगभग 250 गांवों में की गई है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में बेहतर यातायात सुविधा उपलब्ध कराना और गांवों को शहरों से जोड़ना है।

 4. The Maharashtra government has introduced an e-bond system for import and export businesses, replacing traditional stamp paper bonds. Maharashtra has become the 16th state in India to adopt digital bonds. The transition to digital bonds aims to reduce paperwork, streamline processes, and increase efficiency in the import-export sector.

महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने आयात और निर्यात व्यवसायों के लिए पारंपरिक स्टाम्प पेपर बॉन्ड की जगह ई-बॉन्ड प्रणाली शुरू की है। महाराष्ट्र डिजिटल बॉन्ड अपनाने वाला भारत का 16वाँ राज्य बन गया है। डिजिटल बॉन्ड में बदलाव का उद्देश्य कागजी कार्रवाई को कम करना, प्रक्रिया को सुव्यवस्थित करना और आयात-निर्यात क्षेत्र में दक्षता बढ़ाना है।

 5. An Indian Parliamentary delegation led by Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla will participate in the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference to be held in Bridgetown, Barbados from 5 to 12 October 2025. The theme of the 68th Commonwealth Conference is "The Commonwealth: A Global Partner". Om Birla will address the General Assembly and highlight India's democratic values ​​and its contribution to parliamentary cooperation. The CPA was established in 1911 as the Empire Parliamentary Association and was renamed in 1948.

लोकसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ओम बिरला के नेतृत्व में एक भारतीय संसदीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल 5 से 12 अक्टूबर 2025 तक ब्रिजटाउन, बारबाडोस में आयोजित होने वाले 68वें राष्ट्रमंडल संसदीय सम्मेलन में भाग लेगा। 68वें राष्ट्रमंडल सम्मेलन का विषय "राष्ट्रमंडल: एक वैश्विक साझेदार" है। ओम बिरला महासभा को संबोधित करेंगे और भारत के लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों तथा संसदीय सहयोग में इसके योगदान पर प्रकाश डालेंगे। सीपीए की स्थापना 1911 में एम्पायर पार्लियामेंट्री एसोसिएशन के रूप में हुई थी और 1948 में इसका नाम बदल दिया गया।

 6. The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has released a discussion paper suggesting that free food grains distributed under the Public Distribution System (PDS) be included in the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The paper recommends combining Public Distribution System (PDS) prices (zero or subsidised, weighted according to consumption categories) with open market prices to create a single commodity index.

सांख्यिकी एवं कार्यक्रम कार्यान्वयन मंत्रालय ( MoSPI ) ने एक चर्चा पत्र जारी किया है जिसमें सुझाव दिया गया है कि सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली ( PDS ) के तहत वितरित मुफ्त खाद्यान्न को उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक ( CPI ) में शामिल किया जाए।यह शोधपत्र सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली (पीडीएस) की कीमतों (शून्य या सब्सिडी वाली, उपभोग श्रेणियों के अनुसार भारांकित) को खुले बाजार की कीमतों के साथ मिलाकर एक एकल वस्तु सूचकांक बनाने की सिफारिश करता है।

 7.  Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched a campaign in Gandhinagar. The initiative aims to recover undisclosed financial assets worth ₹1.84 lakh crore held by banks and regulators. The three-month-long "Your Capital, Your Rights" campaign will focus on awareness, outreach, and action. Officials will ensure that the rightful beneficiaries claim their funds. The RBI's UDGAM portal will assist claimants.

केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने गांधीनगर में एक अभियान की शुरुआत की। इस पहल का उद्देश्य 1.84 लाख करोड़ रुपये की अघोषित वित्तीय संपत्तियाँ वापस करना है। ये धनराशि बैंकों और नियामकों के पास है। तीन महीने तक चलने वाला "आपकी पूँजी, आपका अधिकार" अभियान जागरूकता, पहुँच और कार्रवाई पर केंद्रित होगा। अधिकारी यह सुनिश्चित करेंगे कि असली हकदार अपनी धनराशि का दावा करें। RBI का UDGAM पोर्टल दावेदारों की सहायता करेगा।

 8. Cyclone Shakti: The first cyclonic storm to form in the Arabian Sea in the post-monsoon season. The cyclone is expected to affect the Gujarat coast, particularly around Dwarka. The cyclone has been named Shakti, a name suggested by Sri Lanka, as per the convention followed by the WMO/ESCAP Panel on Tropical Cyclones. Cyclone names are suggested by 13 countries surrounding the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.

चक्रवात शक्ति: मानसून के बाद के मौसम में अरब सागर में आने वाला पहला चक्रवाती तूफ़ान। इस चक्रवात के गुजरात तट, विशेषतः द्वारका के आसपास, प्रभावित होने की आशंका है।चक्रवात का नाम शक्ति रखा गया है, जो उष्णकटिबंधीय चक्रवातों पर WMO/ESCAP पैनल द्वारा अपनाई गई परंपरा के अनुसार श्रीलंका द्वारा सुझाया गया नाम है। चक्रवातों के नाम बंगाल की खाड़ी और अरब सागर के आसपास के 13 देशों द्वारा सुझाए जाते हैं।

 9. India will host the meeting of UN Peacekeepers Chiefs in Delhi on October 14-16, 2025. The conference will focus on peacekeeping, multilateral cooperation, troop safety, and new technologies. Military chiefs from nearly 30 countries will participate. India has sent more than 290,000 peacekeepers since 1950. Peacekeepers often operate in challenging areas, and 182 soldiers have sacrificed their lives. India became the first country to send an all-women police contingent to Liberia in 2007.

भारत 14-16 अक्टूबर 2025 को दिल्ली में UN शांति सैनिकों के प्रमुखों की बैठक की मेजबानी करेगा. यह सम्मेलन शांति स्थापना, बहुपक्षीय सहयोग, सैनिकों की सुरक्षा और नई तकनीकों पर केंद्रित होगा. लगभग 30 देशों के सेना प्रमुख भाग लेंगे.भारत ने 1950 से लेकर अब तक 2,90,000 से अधिक शांति सैनिक भेजे हैं. शांति सैनिक अक्सर चुनौतीपूर्ण क्षेत्रों में काम करते हैं और 182 सैनिकों ने अपने प्राणों की बलिदान दी है. भारत पहली बार 2007 में लाइबेरिया में ऑल-वुमन पुलिस कंटिन्जेंट भेजने वाला देश बना।

 10.  India topped the medal table with a total of 26 medals – 19 in Olympic events (6 gold, 8 silver, 5 bronze) and 7 in non-Olympic events (2 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze). AIN (Individual Neutral Athletes) finished second with five gold, three silver, and four bronze. Italy finished third with two gold, two silver, and one bronze. Athletes from eight countries participated.

भारत ने कुल 26 पदक जीतकर पदक तालिका में शीर्ष स्थान हासिल किया - 19 ओलंपिक स्पर्धाओं में (6 स्वर्ण, 8 रजत, 5 कांस्य) और 7 गैर-ओलंपिक स्पर्धाओं में (2 स्वर्ण, 2 रजत, 3 कांस्य)। AIN (व्यक्तिगत तटस्थ एथलीट) पाँच स्वर्ण, तीन रजत और चार कांस्य के साथ दूसरे स्थान पर रहा। इटली दो स्वर्ण, दो रजत और एक कांस्य के साथ तीसरे स्थान पर रहा। आठ देशों के एथलीटों ने इसमें हिस्सा लिया ।
