1. INS Sahyadri, a Shivalik-class stealth frigate, has arrived in Yokosuka, Japan to participate in the Japan-India Maritime Exercise (JAIMEX) 2025, which will mark a milestone in the India-Japan defence partnership. India and Japan share a special strategic and global partnership, with defence cooperation as its central pillar, marked by annual naval exercises and military dialogue since 2014.

शिवालिक श्रेणी का स्टील्थ फ्रिगेट, INS सह्याद्रि, जापान-भारत समुद्री अभ्यास (JAIMEX) 2025 में भाग लेने के लिए जापान के योकोसुका पहुँच गया है, जो भारत-जापान रक्षा साझेदारी में एक मील का पत्थर साबित होगा। भारत और जापान एक विशेष रणनीतिक और वैश्विक साझेदारी साझा करते हैं, जिसमें रक्षा सहयोग इसका केंद्रीय स्तंभ है, जो 2014 से वार्षिक नौसैनिक अभ्यासों और सैन्य वार्ताओं द्वारा चिह्नित है।

2. India is among the top 9 in the Global Forest Assessment 2025. We have achieved 9th position globally in terms of forest area, compared to 10th position in the previous assessment. India has also maintained its third position globally in terms of annual increase. According to the FAO report, the total forest area of ​​the world is 4.14 billion hectares, covering 32 percent of the Earth's land. According to the report, more than half of the forest area (54 percent) is in just five countries – Russia, Brazil, Canada, the United States, and China.

भारत वैश्विक वन आकलन 2025 में शीर्ष 9 में है. हमने पिछले आकलन में 10वें स्थान की तुलना में वैश्विक स्तर पर वन क्षेत्र के मामले में 9वां स्थान हासिल किया है. भारत ने वार्षिक वृद्धि  के मामले में भी वैश्विक स्तर पर अपना तीसरा स्थान बनाए रखा है। एफएओ की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक दुनिया का कुल वन क्षेत्र 4.14 अरब हेक्टेयर है, जो पृथ्वी की 32 फीसदी जमीन पर है. रिपोर्ट के अनुसार आधे से अधिक वनक्षेत्र (54 प्रतिशत) सिर्फ पांच देशों - रूस, ब्राजील, कनाडा, अमेरिका और चीन में है.

3. Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant announced the inclusion of chess in school and college curriculums to help students develop self-confidence and strategic thinking. He made the announcement at the launch of the FIDE World Cup logo, which highlighted the event's role in enhancing Goa's global image and contributing to the state's economic development. This will be the 11th edition of the Chess World Cup.

गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. प्रमोद सावंत ने छात्रों में आत्मविश्वास और रणनीतिक सोच विकसित करने में मदद के लिए स्कूल और कॉलेज के पाठ्यक्रम में शतरंज को शामिल करने की घोषणा की। उन्होंने FIDE विश्व कप के लोगो के लॉन्च के अवसर पर यह घोषणा की, जिसमें गोवा की वैश्विक छवि को निखारने और राज्य के आर्थिक विकास में योगदान देने में इस आयोजन की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला गया। यह शतरंज विश्व कप का 11वां संस्करण होगा ।

4. Morocco won its first World Cup title at any level by defeating Argentina 2–0 in the FIFA U-20 World Cup final in Chile. With this victory, Morocco became the first African team to win the U-20 World Cup since Ghana in 2009. It is the biennial international men's youth football championship contested by the under-20 national teams of the member associations of FIFA, which began in 1977 as the FIFA World Youth Championship.

मोरक्को ने चिली में अंडर-20 फीफा विश्व कप फाइनल में अर्जेंटीना को 2-0 से हराकर किसी भी स्तर पर अपना पहला विश्व कप खिताब जीता। इस जीत के साथ, मोरक्को 2009 में घाना के बाद अंडर-20 विश्व कप जीतने वाली पहली अफ्रीकी टीम बन गई। यह फीफा के सदस्य संघों की अंडर-20 राष्ट्रीय टीमों द्वारा आयोजित होने वाली द्विवार्षिक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पुरुष युवा फुटबॉल चैंपियनशिप है, जिसकी शुरुआत 1977 में फीफा विश्व युवा चैंपियनशिप के रूप में हुई थी।

 5. India's star javelin thrower and two-time Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra has been awarded the rank of Honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army of the Indian Army. Neeraj Chopra was commissioned into the Rajputana Rifles Regiment of the Indian Army in 2016. Born on December 24, 1997, in Khandra village, Panipat district, Haryana, Neeraj has made not only India but also the Indian Army proud with his performances.

भारत के स्टार जैवलिन थ्रोअर और दो बार के ओलंपिक पदक विजेता नीरज चोपड़ा  को भारतीय सेना की टेरिटोरियल आर्मी में मानद लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल के पद से सम्मानित किया गया। नीरज चोपड़ा को वर्ष 2016 में भारतीय सेना की राजपूताना राइफल्स रेजिमेंट में शामिल किया गया था। हरियाणा के पानीपत जिले के खांदरा गांव में 24 दिसंबर 1997 को जन्मे नीरज ने अपने प्रदर्शन से न केवल भारत को, बल्कि भारतीय सेना को भी गौरवान्वित किया है।

6. Over 1.56 crore passengers have travelled on 3.23 lakh flights in the last nine years under the Central Government's 'Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik' (UDAN) scheme. The UDAN scheme, which was launched on 21 October 2016 under the National Civil Aviation Policy, has brought about a major transformation in making air travel accessible and affordable in India. The first flight was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 27 April 2017 between Shimla and Delhi, ushering in a new era of regional air connectivity.

केंद्र सरकार की ‘उड़े देश का आम नागरिक’ (उड़ान) योजना के तहत पिछले नौ वर्षों में 1.56 करोड़ से अधिक यात्रियों ने 3.23 लाख उड़ानों के जरिए यात्रा की है।उड़ान योजना, जो 21 अक्टूबर 2016 को राष्ट्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन नीति के तहत शुरू की गई थी, ने भारत में हवाई यात्रा को सुलभ और किफायती बनाने में बड़ा परिवर्तन लाया है। पहली उड़ान प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 27 अप्रैल 2017 को शिमला से दिल्ली के बीच शुरू की थी, जिससे क्षेत्रीय हवाई कनेक्टिविटी के एक नए युग की शुरुआत हुई।

7. The Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law and Justice, has notified the Notaries (Amendment) Rules, 2025, increasing the maximum number of notaries in Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Nagaland. This amendment was made in exercise of the powers conferred on the Central Government under Section 15 of the Notaries Act, 1952. A notary is an authorized person appointed by the government to attest to the authenticity of documents, contracts, affidavits, and other legal documents.

कानून और न्याय मंत्रालय के विधि कार्य विभाग ने नोटरीज (संशोधन) नियम, 2025 अधिसूचित किए हैं, जिसके तहत गुजरात, तमिलनाडु, राजस्थान और नागालैंड में नोटरी की अधिकतम संख्या बढ़ा दी गई है। यह संशोधन नोटरीज अधिनियम, 1952 की धारा 15 के तहत केंद्र सरकार को प्रदत्त अधिकारों का उपयोग करते हुए किया गया है।  नोटरी वह अधिकृत व्यक्ति होता है जिसे सरकार द्वारा नियुक्त किया जाता है ताकि वह दस्तावेजों, अनुबंधों, हलफनामों और अन्य कानूनी कागजों की सत्यता की पुष्टि कर सके।

8. India and the United Kingdom have launched the Ramanujan Junior Researchers Programme, named after Srinivasa Ramanujan. The fellowship aims to enable Indian researchers to collaborate with leading British researchers at the London Institute for Mathematical Sciences (LIMS), thereby carrying forward the legacy of the historic Ramanujan-G.H. Hardy collaboration of 1913.

भारत और यूनाइटेड किंगडम ने श्रीनिवास रामानुजन के नाम पर रामानुजन जूनियर रिसर्चर्स प्रोग्राम शुरू किया है।इस फेलोशिप का उद्देश्य भारतीय शोधकर्ताओं को लंदन इंस्टीट्यूट फॉर मैथमेटिकल साइंसेज (LIMS) में अग्रणी ब्रिटिश शोधकर्ताओं के साथ सहयोग करने में सक्षम बनाना है, जिससे 1913 के ऐतिहासिक रामानुजन-जी.एच. हार्डी सहयोग की विरासत को आगे बढ़ाया जा सके।

9. Police Memorial Day is celebrated on October 21st to honor police personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Its roots lie in the 1959 incident when 10 Indian policemen were martyred in an ambush by Chinese troops in Ladakh. October 21st was officially declared Police Memorial Day in 1960.

पुलिस स्मृति दिवस 21 अक्टूबर को उन पुलिसकर्मियों के सम्मान में मनाया जाता है जिन्होंने कर्तव्य निभाते हुए सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिया। इसकी जड़ें 1959 की उस घटना से जुड़ी हैं जब लद्दाख में चीनी सैनिकों द्वारा घात लगाकर किए गए हमले में 10 भारतीय पुलिसकर्मी शहीद हो गए थे।21 अक्टूबर को आधिकारिक तौर पर 1960 में पुलिस स्मृति दिवस घोषित किया गया था।

10. The Asian Youth Games are being held in Manama, Bahrain, from October 22nd to 31st. India defeated Pakistan on the kabaddi mat. India comprehensively defeated Pakistan 81-26 at the Asian Youth Games 2025. India currently sits sixth in the medal tally with one silver and two bronze medals.

एशियन यूथ गेम्स का आयोजन 22 से 31 अक्टूबर के बीच बहरीन के मनामा में हो रहा है। भारत ने कबड्डी के मैट पर पाकिस्तान को करारी शिकस्त दी है। भारत ने एशियन यूथ गेम्स 2025 में पाकिस्तान को 81-26 से बुरी तरह रौंदा। भारत 1 सिल्वर और 2 ब्रॉन्ज मेडल के साथ फिलहाल मेडल टैली में छठे पायदान पर मौजूद है।
