1. Renowned children's literature writer Anand V. Patil will be
honoured with the Prof. V.K. Gokak Award. The award will be presented at a
function organised by BVB and Gokak Vangamaya Trust in Bengaluru. Patil, a
winner of the Central Sahitya Akademi Bal Sahitya Award, is known for enriching
young readers. The award is given in honour of Jnanpith Award winner, Kannada
literature icon Prof. V.K. Gokak.

Foundation India and the Department of Zoology, Gauhati University have
launched the Vulture Portal. Creation of a nationwide network for the
conservation of vultures, which are important for the ecosystem. Focus on
grassroots outreach with awareness in local languages. There are 9 species of
vultures found in India, of which 5 are listed as critically endangered by the
IUCN.

विज्ञान विभाग ने गिद्ध पोर्टल लॉन्च किया है। पारिस्थितिक तंत्र के लिए

3. The 3rd Northeast Aviation Summit and Ministers' Conference began in Itanagar. Union Minister Rammohan Naidu and Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol will attend along with state ministers. Highlights: Airport expansion, helicopters, seaplanes, drones and MRO activities. Organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and FICCI in collaboration with the Arunachal government; for the first time the state is hosting the summit.

4. The 27th
Saras Ajeevika Mela begins in New Delhi tomorrow and will continue till
September 22. Over 400 women from self-help groups across states and union
territories will showcase their products. Theme: Creating Lakhpati Didis -
Empowering Rural Women Entrepreneurs. The first fair fully run by Lakhpati
Didis will promote handicrafts and food products. DAY-NRLM connects with 10
crore women from 90 lakh self-help groups across the country.

5. External Affairs
Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar inaugurated the SAMHiTA conference in New Delhi.
Main theme: Manuscript Traditions and Mathematical Contributions of South Asia.
SAMHiTA will create a digital repository of Indian and South Asian manuscripts
abroad. The initiative involves collaboration with global libraries and
collections. Jaishankar emphasized self-reliance and India's intellectual
leadership.

6. Inauguration of the Royal Bhutan Buddhist
Temple in Rajgir, Bihar. The ceremony was led by Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering
Tobgay and Union Minister Kiren Rijiju. Lord Buddha had meditated at Rajgir, a
major site of Buddhism. The inauguration took place with traditional Bhutanese
customs and Buddhist rituals. The temple is considered a symbol of India-Bhutan
friendship and cultural relations.
बिहार के राजगीर में शाही भूटान बौद्ध मंदिर का उद्घाटन। भूटान
के प्रधानमंत्री शेरिंग तोबगे और केंद्रीय मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू की अगुवाई में

7. The 5th meeting of the Central Advisory
Council under RERA was held in New Delhi. Housing Minister Manohar Lal launched
the Integrated RERA Portal on this occasion. The portal aims to promote
transparency, accountability and project implementation. States and Union
Territories were urged to fully implement RERA for the protection of citizens

8. Starting
September 15, 2025, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) will
implement revised UPI transaction limits for specific high-value payment
categories. The per transaction limit has been increased to ₹5 lakh, and the
overall 24-hour limit has been increased to ₹10 lakh for several services,
including insurance, capital markets, government tax payments, and credit card
payments—this is a significant step towards expanding UPI’s role in India’s
digital financial ecosystem.

9. Justice Mr Chandrasekhar
was sworn in as the new Chief Justice of Bombay High Court on Friday.
Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan administered the oath to him at Raj
Bhavan. To become a judge of the High Court (High Court), a person must be a
citizen of India or have experience of working as a lawyer in a High Court for
at least 10 years.
न्यायमूर्ति श्री चंद्रशेखर ने शुक्रवार को बॉम्बे उच्च
न्यायालय के नए मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में शपथ ली। महाराष्ट्र के राज्यपाल सी.पी.
राधाकृष्णन ने राजभवन में उन्हें शपथ दिलाई। उच्च न्यायालय (उच्च न्यायालय) का
न्यायाधीश बनने के लिए व्यक्ति कोभारत के नागरिक को किसी उच्च न्यायालय में कम से
कम 10 वर्ष तक का व्यक्ति (वकील) के रूप में काम करने का अनुभव या उसके पास होना
चाहिए।.
10. The Department for
Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with ICICI Bank to provide targeted support to
DPIIT-recognised startups across India. The partnership, which will formally
launch on September 4, 2025, is being organised under the Startup India
initiative and aims to provide startups with a structured engagement programme
consisting of accelerator access, mentorship, pilot opportunities, and
ecosystem integration.
उद्योग एवं आंतरिक व्यापार संवर्धन विभाग (DPIIT) ने भारत भर में DPIIT-मान्यता प्राप्त स्टार्टअप्स को लक्षित सहायता प्रदान करने हेतु ICICI बैंक के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। 4 सितंबर, 2025 को औपचारिक रूप से शुरू होने वाली यह साझेदारी, स्टार्टअप इंडिया पहल के तहत आयोजित की जा रही है और इसका उद्देश्य स्टार्टअप्स को एक्सेलेरेटर एक्सेस, मेंटरशिप, पायलट अवसर और इकोसिस्टम एकीकरण से युक्त एक संरचित जुड़ाव कार्यक्रम प्रदान करना है।
