1 The Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation (MoSPI) is
organizing the 29th Conference of Central and State Statistical Organizations
(COCSSOs) on September 25-26, 2025, at the JW Marriott, Chandigarh. The
conference will provide a platform for discussion and better coordination
between central and state statistical agencies to enhance the efficiency of the
Indian statistical system. "Strengthening Local-Level Governance" is
the theme of this year's two-day conference. It aims to improve the quality and
availability of local-level data.

3. A new report by the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE)
suggests that India has a capacity of ground solar PV (plant -plantable solar
energy) from 3,343 GW Power (GWP) from 27,571 square kilometers of barren land.
The report released by Union Minister Prahlad Joshi highlights important
opportunities beyond traditional desert areas, where immense unused
capabilities appear in states like Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
NISE is an autonomous specific institution under the Ministry of New and
Renewable Energy (MNRE).

Internship Program (OSTI). This two -week program is designed to provide intensive
understanding of the promotion and conservation of human rights in India and

5. The Indian Sign Language
Research and Training Center (ISLRTC) is organizing the Sign Language Day -
2025 program at New Delhi. The United Nations General Assembly has declared
September 23 as International Sign Language Day for raising awareness about
symbolic language and its role in realizing the human rights of deaf people.
The theme of this year - 'No human rights without the right to symbolic
language'.

9. Project Vijayak
celebrated his 15th Foundation Day in Kargil on 21 September 2025, which was

The scheme provides health insurance cover of up to ₹5 lakh per family annually and offers cashless treatment at hospitals across the country, saving citizens from financial burden. India is witnessing a revolution in public healthcare. The scheme has ensured financial security and dignity for beneficiaries. It was implemented across India on September 23, 2018.
