1. ​Defence Minister and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister inaugurated Rafale Amfibre's unit in Gautam Buddh Nagar. The facility houses defence equipment, drones and India's largest aero engine testing centre. Started in 2017, Rafale Amfibre now employs over 600 scientists and engineers. It is estimated to generate over 5,000 jobs in Uttar Pradesh. In 14 months with DRDO, the company built 3 products used in Operation Sindoor.

​रक्षा मंत्री और उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री ने गौतम बुद्ध नगर में राफे एमफिबर की इकाई का उद्घाटन किया। इस सुविधा में रक्षा उपकरण, ड्रोन और भारत का सबसे बड़ा एयरो इंजन परीक्षण केंद्र शामिल है। 2017 में शुरू हुई राफे एमफिबर अब 600 से अधिक वैज्ञानिकों और इंजीनियरों को रोजगार देती है। उत्तर प्रदेश में 5,000 से अधिक रोज़गार  सृजित होने का अनुमान है। DRDO के साथ 14 महीनों में, कंपनी ने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर में प्रयुक्त होने वाले 3 उत्पाद बनाए।

 2   The Telangana Cabinet has approved the Panchayat Raj and Municipalities Bill 2025. The move removes the 50% cap, allowing 42% reservation for backward classes. The quota applies to members, chairpersons and mayors in local bodies. The bills have been sent for Presidential assent; elections are due in September 2025. The government says the move will increase representation of backward classes; the opposition is exploring legal routes.

तेलंगाना मंत्रिमंडल ने पंचायत राज एवं नगर पालिका विधेयक 2025 को मंज़ूरी दे दी है। इस कदम से 50% की सीमा हट गई है, जिससे पिछड़े वर्गों के लिए 42% आरक्षण संभव हो गया है। स्थानीय निकायों में सदस्यों, अध्यक्षों और महापौरों के लिए कोटा लागू होता है। विधेयक राष्ट्रपति की मंज़ूरी के लिए भेजे गए; सितंबर 2025 में चुनाव होने हैं। सरकार का कहना है कि इस कदम से पिछड़े वर्गों का प्रतिनिधित्व बढ़ेगा; विपक्ष कानूनी मार्ग तलाश रहा है।

 3. INS Kadmatt arrived in Port Moresby on the occasion of PNG's 50th Independence Day. The visit reflects India's Act East Policy and Indo-Pacific cooperation. INS Kadmatt will participate in the Independence Day parade and cultural events. The crew will be involved in maritime and disaster relief operations with the PNG Defence Force. The visit builds on Prime Minister Modi's 2023 visit to PNG to further deepen defence ties.

INS कदमत्त, PNG के 50वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर पोर्ट मोरेस्बी पहुँच गया। यह यात्रा भारत की एक्ट ईस्ट नीति और हिंद-प्रशांत सहयोग को दर्शाती है। INS कदमत्त स्वतंत्रता दिवस परेड और सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों में शामिल होगा।चालक दल, PNG रक्षा बल के साथ समुद्री और आपदा राहत कार्यों में शामिल होगा।यह यात्रा रक्षा संबंधों को और गहरा करने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की 2023 की PNG यात्रा पर आधारित है।

 4. The Indian Army and ITBP completed the high-altitude exercise Achhuk Prahar in Arunachal Pradesh. The exercise was conducted under simulated warfare, testing joint interoperability. It validated combat readiness, layered defence and quick response in the eastern region. Arunachal Pradesh borders Tibet, Myanmar and Bhutan.

भारतीय सेना और आईटीबीपी ने अरुणाचल प्रदेश में उच्च ऊंचाई वाला अभ्यास अछूक प्रहार पूरा किया। यह अभ्यास कृत्रिम युद्ध के तहत आयोजित किया गया था, जिसमें संयुक्त अंतर-संचालन क्षमता का परीक्षण किया गया। इसने पूर्वी क्षेत्र में युद्ध की तैयारी, स्तरित रक्षा और त्वरित प्रतिक्रिया को प्रमाणित किया। अरुणाचल प्रदेश की सीमा तिब्बत, म्यांमार और भूटान से लगती है।

 5. President Murmu presented the SCOPE Eminence Awards 2022-23 in Delhi. These awards honour the achievements of public sector enterprises and their role in India's development.SCOPE, established in 1973, was recognised as the apex body in 1976.Key areas: Policy advocacy, capacity building, skills and brand development.It represents public sector enterprises globally at the ILO, UN, OECD and IOE forums.

राष्ट्रपति मुर्मू ने दिल्ली में SCOPE एमिनेंस अवार्ड्स 2022-23 प्रदान किए। ये पुरस्कार सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उद्यमों की उपलब्धियों और भारत के विकास में उनकी भूमिका का सम्मान करते हैं।SCOPE, जिसकी स्थापना 1973 में हुई थी, को 1976 में सर्वोच्च निकाय के रूप में मान्यता मिली।मुख्य क्षेत्र: नीति वकालत, क्षमता निर्माण, कौशल और ब्रांड विकास।यह ILO, UN, OECD और IOE मंचों पर सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उद्यमों का वैश्विक स्तर पर प्रतिनिधित्व करता है।

 6. India won 13 medals (4 gold, 6 silver, 3 bronze) in Ahmedabad. Gold medallists Mirabai Chanu, Rishikant, Ajith and Ajay Babu booked places at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. Other winners include Raja, Dilbagh, Sneha, Bindyarani, Nirupama and Mehak (silver). Lovepreet, Harjinder and Vanshita got bronze. India won a total of 40 medals across the senior, junior, and youth categories at the 25th Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships.

भारत ने अहमदाबाद में 13 पदक (4 स्वर्ण, 6 रजत, 3 कांस्य) जीते। स्वर्ण पदक विजेता मीराबाई चानू, ऋषिकांत, अजित और अजय बाबू ने 2026 राष्ट्रमंडल खेलों में स्थान बुक किया।अन्य विजेताओं में राजा, दिलबाग, स्नेहा, बिंद्यारानी, ​​निरुपमा और महक (रजत) शामिल हैं।लवप्रीत, हरजिंदर और वंशिता को कांस्य मिला। भारत ने 25वीं राष्ट्रमंडल भारोत्तोलन चैंपियनशिप में सीनियर, जूनियर और युवा वर्ग में कुल 40 पदक जीते।

 7. India won 99 medals (50 gold, 26 silver, 23 bronze) in Shymkent. Topped the medal table for the first time; Kazakhstan second, China third. Ankur Mittal created a world record by winning gold in the men's double trap event. Elavenil, Neeru Dhanda, Shift Kaur and Aishwarya performed brilliantly in the senior events. India's best performance ever, surpassing the previous 64 medals won in 2019.

भारत ने श्यामकेंट में 99 पदक (50 स्वर्ण, 26 रजत, 23 कांस्य) जीते। पहली बार पदक तालिका में शीर्ष पर; कज़ाकिस्तान दूसरे, चीन तीसरे स्थान पर। अंकुर मित्तल ने पुरुषों की डबल ट्रैप स्पर्धा में स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर विश्व रिकॉर्ड बनाया। इलावेनिल, नीरू ढांडा, सिफ्ट कौर और ऐश्वर्या ने सीनियर स्पर्धाओं में शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। भारत का अब तक का सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन, 2019 में जीते गए पिछले 64 पदकों को पार कर गया।

 8. Singapore has been declared the safest country in Asia in the Global Peace Index (GPI) 2025. Singapore has secured the 6th position globally. This report has been released by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP). In this, 163 countries were evaluated on parameters like security, conflict and militarization. Although Singapore has slipped one place compared to 2024, its peace score has improved. India's position: 115th position, score 2.229 (same as 2024).

वैश्विक शांति सूचकांक (Global Peace Index – GPI) 2025 में सिंगापुर को एशिया का सबसे सुरक्षित देश घोषित किया गया है। सिंगापुर ने वैश्विक स्तर पर 6वां स्थान हासिल किया है। यह रिपोर्ट इंस्टिट्यूट फॉर इकनॉमिक्स एंड पीस (IEP) द्वारा जारी की गई है। इसमें 163 देशों का मूल्यांकन सुरक्षा, संघर्ष और सैन्यकरण जैसे मानकों पर किया गया। हालांकि सिंगापुर 2024 की तुलना में एक पायदान खिसका है, लेकिन उसका शांति स्कोर बेहतर हुआ है.भारत की स्थिति: 115वां स्थान, स्कोर 2.229 (2024 जैसा ही ) .

 9. The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) has decided to set up a development bank to boost regional economic cooperation, as announced by China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi. The initiative, highlighted in the Tianjin Declaration, aims to fund infrastructure and development projects across the bloc. The SCO's dialogue partners and observers have been merged into a new category of SCO partner countries, formally increasing the organisation's "family" to 27 members, Reuters reported.

शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (एससीओ) ने क्षेत्रीय आर्थिक सहयोग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक विकास बैंक स्थापित करने का निर्णय लिया है, जैसा कि चीन के विदेश मंत्री वांग यी ने घोषणा की थी। तियानजिन घोषणा में उजागर की गई इस पहल का उद्देश्य पूरे ब्लॉक में बुनियादी ढांचे और विकास परियोजनाओं को वित्त पोषित करना है। रॉयटर्स ने बताया कि एससीओ के संवाद साझेदारों और पर्यवेक्षकों को एससीओ भागीदार देशों की एक नई श्रेणी में मिला दिया गया है, जिससे संगठन के "परिवार" में औपचारिक रूप से 27 सदस्य हो गए हैं।

 10. The first tempered glass manufacturing unit has been inaugurated in Noida and was inaugurated by Union Minister for Electronics and IT Shri Ashwini Vaishnav on 30th August 2025. The plant has been set up in partnership with Optiemus Electronics and Corning Incorporated (USA). The tempered glass produced here will be manufactured under the premium brand “Engineered by Corning” and will supply to the Indian and global markets.

पहली टेम्पर्ड ग्लास निर्माण इकाई का उद्घाटन नोएडा किया गया है और इसका उद्घाटन 30 अगस्त 2025 को केंद्रीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं आईटी मंत्री श्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने किया। यह संयंत्र ऑप्टिमस इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और कॉर्निंग इन्कॉरपोरेटेड (अमेरिका) की साझेदारी से स्थापित किया गया है। यहां बनने वाला टेम्पर्ड ग्लास “Engineered by Corning” प्रीमियम ब्रांड के अंतर्गत तैयार होगा और भारतीय व वैश्विक बाज़ारों को आपूर्ति करेगा।
