1 PM Narendra Modi reviewed security and preparedness at the 16th
Combined Commanders' Conference (CCC) in Kolkata, West Bengal. Theme of CCC
2025: 'A Year of Reforms - Transformation for the Future'. This conference is
held once every two years, bringing together the political leadership and top
military commanders. CCC: First held in 1953, it serves as the highest defence
dialogue forum.

Minister of State Jitendra Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath attended the closing ceremony of CSIR Start-up Conclave 2025 in
Lucknow. The Minister inaugurated the first of its kind 'Swastik' Lotus Garden
at the historic Botanical Garden in Lucknow. The theme of the conclave was
'Transforming R&D into Start-ups: Innovation for Agriculture, Environment
and Health'.

3. The Ministry of Jal Shakti in collaboration with the Ministry of
Panchayati Raj organized the 'Sarpanch Samvad National Quality Conference' in
New Delhi. The central theme of the conference was - "Developed Village to
Developed India". The conference discussed five major thematic areas based
on local Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 75 eminent Sarpanches from 22
states of the country participated in it and exchanged their experiences and
best practices.

4. Union
Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the second National Conference of
Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) in New Delhi. The theme of this conference is
'Joint Resolve, Shared Responsibility', which was organized by the Narcotics
Control Bureau (NCB). On this occasion, the NCB Annual Report 2024 was released
and an online drug disposal campaign was launched. The first conference was
held in April 2023.

5. In 1994, the United
Nations General Assembly declared 16 September the International Day for the
Preservation of the Ozone Layer, commemorating the date of the signing of the
Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (resolution 49/114)
in 1987. The theme for 2025 was: From Science to Global Action. The UN's became
the first treaties to achieve universal ratification in 2009.

6. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has
launched a special microsite on Indian banknotes aimed at increasing awareness
among the public about the design and security features of banknotes.The portal
is available at indiancurrency.rbi.org.in and is designed to be a one-stop
destination for all credible information related to banknotes.The move comes at
a time when the problem of counterfeit notes and questions related to exchange
of notes continue to be important among the general public. 360-degree view of
banknotes: Provides a closer look at each note, making it easier to
differentiate between genuine and fake.

Sundar was formally sworn in as the 10th Chief Justice of the Manipur High
Court, another important appointment in the higher judiciary of India. The
swearing-in ceremony was held at the Durbar Hall at Raj Bhavan in Imphal, where
Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla administered the oath to him. Justice
Sundar's elevation to the top judicial post in Manipur comes following the
recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium. The Manipur High Court was
established on March 25, 2013 after suitable amendments in the North-Eastern
Areas (Reorganisation) Act, 1971

8. The BCCI
on Tuesday announced Apollo Tyres as the new main sponsor of Team India. The
agreement will run till March 2028. During this time, the logo of Apollo Tyres
will appear on the jerseys of all formats of the Indian men's and women's
cricket teams. This agreement will replace Dream11, which was the main sponsor
of Team India till now. The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) was
founded in December 1928 with the aim of ending the British monopoly in
cricket. R. E. Grant Gowan became its first president.

9. An agreement was signed
today on Tuesday between the Government of India and the International Labor
Organization (ILO) to develop an 'International Reference Occupation
Classification'. The agreement was signed by India's Ambassador to Geneva,
Switzerland Arindam Bagchi and ILO Director-General Gilbert F. Houngbo. The
agreement aims to provide global employment opportunities to the youth and
seamlessly connect Indian workers to the international labor market. Today many
countries are facing a shortage of skilled workers due to population imbalance
and digitalization.
भारत सरकार और अंतरराष्ट्रीय श्रम संगठन (ILO)
के बीच
‘अंतरराष्ट्रीय संदर्भ व्यवसाय वर्गीकरण’ विकसित करने के लिए आज मंगलवार को एक
समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किया गया। यह समझौता स्विट्जरलैंड के जिनेवा में भारत के
राजदूत अरिंदम बागची और ILO के महानिदेशक गिल्बर्ट एफ. होंगबो द्वारा हस्ताक्षरित किया
गया। इस समझौते का उद्देश्य युवाओं को वैश्विक रोजगार के अवसर दिलाना और भारतीय
श्रमिकों को अंतरराष्ट्रीय श्रम बाजार में सहजता से जोड़ना है। आज कई देशों को
जनसंख्या असंतुलन और डिजिटलीकरण के कारण कुशल श्रमिकों की कमी का सामना करना पड़
रहा है।
10. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the
foundation stone of the country's first PM Mitra Park on the occasion of his
birthday. Investment proposals worth more than Rs 23 thousand crore have been
received from 114 leading textile companies in the country's first PM Mitra
Park to be set up in an area of 2158 acres in village Bhensola of Dhar
district of Madhya Pradesh. PM Mitra Park of Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh
will take the textile industry of not only the state but the entire country to
new heights.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी अपने जन्मदिन के अवसर पर देश के पहले पीएम मित्र पार्क की आधारशिला रखेंगे। मध्य प्रदेश के धार जिले के ग्राम भेंसोला में 2158 एकड़ क्षेत्र में स्थापित होने वाले देश के पहले पीएम मित्रा पार्क में अग्रणी 114 टेक्सटाइल कम्पनियों से 23 हजार करोड़ रुपये से अधिक के निवेश प्रस्ताव प्राप्त हो चुके हैं। मध्य प्रदेश के धार जिले का पीएम मित्र पार्क प्रदेश ही नहीं बल्कि पूरे देश के वस्त्र उद्योग को नई ऊंचाइयों तक ले जाएगा।
