1. Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, who is also the Chairperson of CPA India Region, will inaugurate the 11th Conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region at Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru on 11 September 2025. The theme of the conference is "Debates and discussions in the Houses of Assembly: Building public trust, fulfilling public aspirations". The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) is a global organisation that connects parliamentarians and parliamentary staff from Commonwealth countries. Established in 1911, the CPA is headquartered in London .

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Personnel, Public Grievances &
Pensions, Minister of State for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, PMO,
Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh chaired
the 14th Pension Adalat at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi today. Organised by the
Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DOPPW) on the theme “Family
Pensioners & Very Senior Pensioners”, the Adalat considered a total of 894
old and long pending grievances relating to family pension cases from 21
Departments and Ministries for redressal.

पेंशनभोगी" विषय पर आयोजित इस अदालत में 21 विभागों और मंत्रालयों से
पारिवारिक पेंशन मामलों से संबंधित कुल 894 पुरानी और लंबे समय से लंबित शिकायतों
के निवारण के लिए विचार किया गया।
3. NITI Aayog in collaboration with United Nations Development
Programme organized a one day National Workshop on ‘National Multidimensional
Poverty Index (MPI)’ on 9th September 2025 in New Delhi as part of NITI-State
Workshop Series under State Support Mission to strengthen outreach and national
capacity. The National Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) measures poverty in
multiple dimensions such as health, education and standard of living rather
than just income.

4. The
Swachhata Hi Sewa (SHS) 2025 campaign will return with the launch of 'Swachhata
Utsav', a fortnight-long celebration from September 17 to October 2. Organised
by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) and the Department of
Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS), the campaign promotes cleanliness and
community participation. The theme this year is 'Swachhata Utsav'.

the following year when lawmakers filed an impeachment motion accusing her of
delivering "biased judgments" and interfering with the executive's
jurisdiction. Studied law from Tribhuvan University (1978) and political
science from Banaras Hindu University (1975)

6. IDBI Bank has filed a fresh bankruptcy
petition against Zee in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). The bank
claims that it is owed Rs 225.22 crore. Zee has rejected this petition as
malicious and baseless. Zee has also said that it will take legal action
against the bank
आईडीबीआई बैंक ने राष्ट्रीय कंपनी विधि न्यायाधिकरण
(एनसीएलटी) में ज़ी के खिलाफ एक नई दिवालिया याचिका दायर की है। बैंक का दावा है
कि उस पर 225.22 करोड़ रुपये का बकाया है। ज़ी ने इस याचिका को दुर्भावनापूर्ण और
निराधार बताते हुए खारिज कर दिया है। ज़ी ने यह भी कहा है कि वह बैंक के खिलाफ
कानूनी कार्रवाई करेगी।
7. An MoU has
been signed between the National Scheduled Tribe Finance and Development
Department (NSTFDC) and Coal India Limited. Under this, Coal India will work in
the interest of tribal students from its CSR fund. About 30 thousand tribal
students will benefit from this initiative. 76 Eklavya Model Residential
Schools will be built to educate tribal children and give a new direction to
their overall development. Tribal Affairs Minister Juan Oram and Coal and
Mining Minister G Kishan Reddy were also present on this occasion.
राष्ट्रीय अनुसूचित जनजाति वित्त एवं विकास विभाग
(एनएसटीएफडीसी) और कोल इंडिया लिमिटेड के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर हुए
हैं। इसके तहत, कोल इंडिया अपने सीएसआर फंड से आदिवासी छात्रों के हित में
काम करेगा। इस पहल से लगभग 30 हज़ार आदिवासी छात्र लाभान्वित होंगे। आदिवासी
बच्चों को शिक्षित करने और उनके समग्र विकास को नई दिशा देने के लिए 76 एकलव्य
आदर्श आवासीय विद्यालय बनाए जाएँगे। इस अवसर पर जनजातीय कार्य मंत्री जुआन ओराम और
कोयला एवं खनन मंत्री जी किशन रेड्डी भी उपस्थित थे।
8. Italian
Navy destroyer ITS Caio Duilio, currently deployed under EU's Operation
Aspides, conducted a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) in the Indian Ocean with Indian
Navy's latest Project 15B destroyer INS Surat on 9 September 2025. Just a few
days ago, Indian Navy's latest warship INS Tamal arrived at Naples port in
Italy. This state-of-the-art Indian warship built in Russia was in Italy from
13 to 16 August, where it visited the Naples port.

9. The United Nations Human
Rights Council will hold its 60th regular session from 8 September to 8 October
2025 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. The International Commission on Human
Rights, also known as the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, was
established in 1946 as a functional body of the United Nations Economic and Social
Council. On March 15, 2006, the United Nations General Assembly passed a
resolution establishing a new Human Rights Council.
संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवाधिकार परिषद अपना 60वाँ नियमित सत्र 8
सितंबर से 8 अक्टूबर 2025 तक जिनेवा के पैलेस डेस नेशंस में आयोजित करेगी।
अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग, जिसे संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवाधिकार आयोग के नाम से भी जाना
जाता है, की स्थापना 1946 में हुई थी. इसकी स्थापना संयुक्त राष्ट्र आर्थिक और सामाजिक
परिषद के एक कार्यात्मक निकाय के रूप में की गई थी. 15 मार्च,
2006 को
संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा ने एक नई मानवाधिकार परिषद के गठन का प्रस्ताव पारित किया।
10. Pradhan Mantri Matsya
Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) was launched on 10 September 2020. The scheme was
approved with a total investment of Rs 20,050 crore. India is set to become the
world's second largest producer in the sector with a fish production of 195
lakh tonnes in 2024-25, strengthening India's role in global fisheries. The
productivity of fisheries has increased from the national average of 3 to 4.7
tonnes per hectare by February 2025. PMMSY has led to a record fish production
of 195 lakh tonnes in just five years.
प्रधानमंत्री मत्स्य संपदा योजना (पीएमएमएसवाई) की शुरुआत 10 सितंबर 2020 को की गई थी। योजना को 20,050 करोड़ रुपए के कुल निवेश के साथ स्वीकृति दी गई थी। भारत 2024-25 में 195 लाख टन मत्स्य उत्पादन के साथ इस क्षेत्र में विश्व का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा उत्पादक बन गया है, जो वैश्विक मत्स्य पालन में भारत की भूमिका को मजबूत करता है। फरवरी, 2025 तक मत्स्यपालन की उत्पादकता में 3 से 4.7 टन प्रति हेक्टेयर के राष्ट्रीय औसत से वृद्धि हुई है। पीएमएमएसवाई से मात्र पांच वर्षों में 195 लाख टन का रिकॉर्ड मछली उत्पादन हुआ है।
