1. Punjab National Bank has successfully migrated its corporate
website to the secure '.bank.in' domain in compliance with an RBI circular. The
move makes PNB the first public sector bank in India to adopt it. The migration
was guided by the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology
(IDRBT). Founders of PNB: Dyal Singh Majithia, Lala Lajpat Rai. MD & CEO:

2 Uttar
Pradesh's first green hydrogen plant developed by Torrent Power and Torrent Gas
was inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Gorakhpur. The plant will
produce 72 tonnes of green hydrogen annually, which will be blended with
natural gas and supplied to households, CNG stations and industries. This is
the largest green hydrogen and natural gas blending initiative in India's urban
gas distribution sector.

पहले ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन प्लांट का उद्घाटन मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने गोरखपुर

3. State Bank of India has inaugurated a Centre of Excellence for
MSMEs at its State Bank Academy in Gurugram to strengthen the MSMEs ecosystem.
The Centre of Excellence will focus on skill development, innovation and
knowledge sharing, benefiting MSME promoters, startups and other stakeholders.
The initiative aims to promote collaboration between academia, industry,
government bodies and banking professionals.

4. India and
France will jointly develop a 120 kilonewton jet engine for India's
fifth-generation AMCA fighter jets, with DRDO and Safran also involved. The
first batch will use the GE-414 engine, while subsequent aircraft will use new
French-Indian engines. The $7 billion project aims for 100% technology
transfer, boosting India's defence self-reliance.

5. Nepal has been verified
for rubella elimination, a significant achievement in the World Health
Organisation (WHO) South-East Asia Region's efforts to eliminate measles and
rubella by 2026. Rubella, or German measles, is a contagious viral infection
that usually causes mild symptoms such as rash, fever and swollen lymph nodes
in children and adults. It is effectively preventable with the measles, mumps
and rubella (MMR) vaccine.

6. The Indian Space Research Organisation
(ISRO) and Rajnath Singh introduced the four astronauts selected for the
Gaganyaan mission. This will be the country's first manned spacecraft. The
astronauts selected for Gaganyaan, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, Group
Captain PB Nair, Group Captain Ajit Krishnan and Group Captain Angad Pratap
were felicitated. The mission aims to send a three-member crew to low Earth
orbit (LEO) for a period of seven days.

7. The Reserve Bank of India has approved Sumitomo Mitsui Banking
Corporation's (SMBC) application to buy up to 24.99% stake in Yes Bank. At the
same time, it has clarified that SMBC will not be classified as a promoter.
SMBC is set to initially acquire a 20% stake worth ₹13,500 crore from existing
investors including SBI and other private banks.

After earning the distinction of becoming the first state in the country to achieve full literacy in 1991, Kerala has now achieved another milestone – over 99 percent of its population has attained digital literacy. The main objective of Digi Keralam is to ensure that every citizen of the state acquires basic digital literacy. This empowerment will promote wider participation in the digital economy, enhance access to government services and improve socio-economic development in Kerala.

9. Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) has recently released a
report on the Chief Ministers of the country. According to this report,
criminal cases are going on against 40% of the Chief Ministers of the country.
Out of these, 33% Chief Ministers have cases registered against them in serious
matters. The maximum number of criminal cases are against Telangana Chief
Minister Revanth Reddy. A total of 89 cases are registered against Revanth
Reddy. According to the ADR report, the Chief Minister with the highest assets
in the country is Chandrababu Naidu. Many cases are also registered against
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu

सीएम चन्द्रबाबू नायडू के खिलाफ भी कई सारे मामले दर्ज हैं।
10. Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the All India
Speakers Conference 2025 - a two-day national event marking a historic moment
to commemorate the centenary of the election of Veer Vithalbhai Patel as the
first Indian Speaker of a legislative body. The deliberations during the
two-day event are expected to provide a meaningful platform for Presiding
Officers to share experiences, exchange best practices and explore new
approaches to the functioning of legislatures.
