1. Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang launched 'Nari Adalat' in Rongpo on
Amma Samman Diwas. Nari Adalat: Women-run community-based platform for informal
justice. It aims to empower women in rural and semi-urban areas of Sikkim. It
works on a flexible, dialogue-based approach instead of a formal judicial
system. It is designed to make justice more accessible without lengthy legal
procedures.

दिवस पर रोंगपो में 'नारी अदालत' का शुभारंभ किया। नारी अदालत: अनौपचारिक न्याय के लिए

2 Maharashtra
has taken a pioneering step towards inclusive education by successfully
implementing the 'Disha Abhiyan', a programme designed to provide equitable and
quality education to students with intellectual disabilities. Announcing the
initiative, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said it has already been
implemented in 453 special schools in the state. Maharashtra is the first state
in the country to adopt a statewide, standardised curriculum for students with
intellectual disabilities.

launched a new Chhota Bheem comic. Released at 29th Delhi Book Fair, New Delhi.
Aims to promote reading habit among children using a familiar character. This
initiative counters digital dominance in children's entertainment. Combining
imagination and values through storytelling.

भीम कॉमिक लॉन्च की। 29वें दिल्ली पुस्तक मेले,
नई दिल्ली में
विमोचन किया गया। एक परिचित पात्र का उपयोग करके बच्चों में पढ़ने की प्रवृत्ति को

4. ICMR and
Department of Health Research organised SHINE in New Delhi. SHINE = Science and
Health Innovations for Next Generation Innovators- a nationwide student
outreach. Objective: To introduce students to health and biomedical research.
Goal: To inspire youth to take up careers in science and public health. More
than 13,000 students from 300 schools (classes 9-12) participated. Activities:
Lab visits, exhibitions, poster walks, film screenings.

5. BEML Ltd, a state-owned
engineering and manufacturing company under the Ministry of Defence, has bagged
its first overseas contract in the rail and metro sector. The project worth
US$1 million has come from Malaysia and involves retrofit and reconditioning of
the country's Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) system. BEML is a 'Schedule A'
multi-technology company providing services to India's defence, rail, power,
mining and construction sectors.

6. IndusInd Bank will provide 360-degree
financial support to startups under its new program. IndusInd Bank on August
11, 2025 launched the 'Indus Startup Banking' program, a comprehensive program
to support early-stage startups in India. The initiative offers banking
facilities, loans and beyond-banking services, including current accounts, API
access and premium lounge access. Startups under 10 years of age can apply for
it and avail customized solutions and strategic partnerships.

7. Punjab National Bank (PNB), the country's second-largest public
sector lender, has identified around 100 non-performing asset (NPA) accounts
for sale to asset reconstruction companies (ARCs) during the current fiscal
year. Punjab National Bank aims to improve its financial position by selling
these around 100 NPA accounts to ARCs, expecting a recovery rate of 40-50%. PNB
is also targeting a total business of Rs 30 lakh crore by the end of the current
fiscal year through strategic lending and deposit growth

8. India's first state-of-the-art animal stem cell biobank has
been opened. Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science &
Technology, Earth Sciences, Dr Jitendra Singh inaugurated India's first
state-of-the-art animal stem cell biobank and animal stem cell laboratory at
the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB) in Hyderabad. Spread over
9,300 sq ft and built at a cost of Rs 1.85 crore, the animal biobank will focus
on regenerative medicine and cellular therapies for animals.

उपचारों पर केंद्रित होगी।
9. Government e-Marketplace (GeM) has achieved a remarkable feat by
registering a Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of Rs 5.4 lakh crore in the
financial year 2024-25. Announced during the 9th Foundation Day celebrations of
GeM. Government e-Marketplace (GeM) is an online platform created by the
Government of India for government procurement. It aims to bring transparency,
efficiency and speed in the government procurement process. Government
e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched on 9 August 2016
सरकारी ई-मार्केटप्लेस (GeM) ने वित्तीय वर्ष 2024-25 में 5.4 लाख करोड़ रुपये का सकल व्यापारिक मूल्य (GMV) दर्ज करके एक उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धि हासिल की है। GeM के 9वें स्थापना दिवस समारोह के दौरान घोषित किया। सरकारी ई-मार्केटप्लेस (GeM) एक ऑनलाइन प्लेटफ़ॉर्म है जो भारत सरकार द्वारा सरकारी खरीद के लिए बनाया गया

10. The 50-over tournament, scheduled to run from September 30 to
November 2, will feature Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand,
Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka in a round-robin format. It will be the
first women's global cricket tournament in the subcontinent since India hosted
the 2016 Women's T20 World Cup, and the fourth Women's ODI World Cup in the
country after 1978, 1997 and 2013.
30 सितंबर से 2 नवंबर तक चलने वाले इस 50 ओवरों के टूर्नामेंट में ऑस्ट्रेलिया, बांग्लादेश, इंग्लैंड, भारत, न्यूज़ीलैंड, पाकिस्तान, दक्षिण अफ्रीका और श्रीलंका राउंड-रॉबिन प्रारूप में भाग लेंगे। भारत द्वारा 2016 महिला टी20 विश्व कप की मेज़बानी के बाद से यह उपमहाद्वीप में पहला महिला वैश्विक क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट होगा, और 1978, 1997 और 2013 के बाद देश में चौथा महिला वनडे विश्व कप होगा।
