1. The 27th Eastern Zonal Council meeting was held in Ranchi under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. States represented: Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal and Odisha. Top agenda item: Mayurakshi dam water-sharing dispute between Jharkhand and Bengal. Many important issues related to development, security, mutual coordination and center-state relations of the four states are discussed in this meeting.

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह की अध्यक्षता में रांची में 27वीं पूर्वी क्षेत्रीय परिषद की बैठक आयोजित की गई। प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले राज्य: झारखंड, बिहार, पश्चिम बंगाल और ओडिशा। शीर्ष एजेंडा आइटम: झारखंड और बंगाल के बीच मयूराक्षी बांध जल-बंटवारा विवाद। इस बैठक में चारों राज्यों के विकास, सुरक्षा, आपसी समन्वय और केंद्र राज्य संबंधों को लेकर कई महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर चर्चा होती है।

2   The Andhra Pradesh government has launched the Digi-Lakshmi scheme to digitally empower urban poor women. Under the scheme, 9,034 Common Service Centres (CSCs) will be set up in all urban local bodies (ULBs). Women from self-help groups (SHGs) will run digital kiosks, known as ATOM kiosks. The scheme is part of the 'One Family, One Entrepreneur' (OF-OE) initiative.

आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने शहरी गरीब महिलाओं को डिजिटल रूप से सशक्त बनाने के लिए डिजी-लक्ष्मी योजना शुरू की है। इस योजना के तहत सभी शहरी स्थानीय निकायों (ULBs) में 9,034 कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर (CSCs) स्थापित किए जाएँगे। स्वयं सहायता समूहों (SHGs) की महिलाएँ डिजिटल कियोस्क चलाएँगी, जिन्हें ATOM कियोस्क के नाम से जाना जाता है। यह योजना 'एक परिवार, एक उद्यमी' (OF-OE) पहल का हिस्सा है।

3. Andhra Pradesh has launched a smart system called SMoSS to combat mosquito-borne diseases. SMoSS stands for 'Smart Mosquito Surveillance System'. It uses AI, drones and sensors to track mosquitoes and respond quickly to affected areas. This pilot project will cover 66 locations in 6 cities. The initiative is being led by the Department of Municipal Administration and Urban Development.

आंध्र प्रदेश ने मच्छर जनित रोगों से निपटने के लिए SMoSS नामक एक स्मार्ट प्रणाली शुरू की है। SMoSS का अर्थ 'स्मार्ट मॉस्किटो सर्विलांस सिस्टम' है। यह मच्छरों पर नज़र रखने और प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में त्वरित प्रतिक्रिया देने के लिए AI, ड्रोन और सेंसर का उपयोग करता है। यह पायलट परियोजना 6 शहरों के 66 स्थानों को कवर करेगी। इस पहल का नेतृत्व नगर प्रशासन और शहरी विकास विभाग द्वारा किया जा रहा है।

4. PARAKH RS stands for 'Performance Assessment, Review and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development'. It was earlier known as National Achievement Survey (NAS). PARAKH is a national assessment body set up under NCERT, as mandated by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Punjab and Kerala are among the top performers. Class-level differences were observed in key subjects like mathematics and language.

PARAKH RS का अर्थ 'समग्र विकास के लिए ज्ञान का प्रदर्शन मूल्यांकन, समीक्षा और विश्लेषण' है। इसे पहले राष्ट्रीय उपलब्धि सर्वेक्षण (NAS) के नाम से जाना जाता था। PARAKH, NCERT के तहत स्थापित एक राष्ट्रीय मूल्यांकन निकाय है, जैसा कि राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति (NEP) 2020 द्वारा अनिवार्य किया गया है। पंजाब और केरल शीर्ष प्रदर्शन करने वालों में शामिल हैं। गणित और भाषा जैसे प्रमुख विषयों में कक्षा-स्तर पर अंतर देखा गया।

5. The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) presented its Annual Report for 2023-24 to President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.The presentation is in accordance with Article 338 of the Constitution, which mandates the Commission to submit an annual report on the status of constitutional safeguards for the Scheduled Castes. The delegation was led by NCSC Chairman Kishor Makwana.

राष्ट्रीय अनुसूचित जाति आयोग (NCSC) ने राष्ट्रपति भवन, नई दिल्ली में राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू को 2023-24 के लिए अपनी वार्षिक रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की।यह प्रस्तुति संविधान के अनुच्छेद 338 के अनुसार है, जो आयोग को अनुसूचित जातियों के लिए संवैधानिक सुरक्षा उपायों की स्थिति पर एक वार्षिक रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करने का आदेश देता है। प्रतिनिधिमंडल का नेतृत्व NCSC के अध्यक्ष किशोर मकवाना ने किया।

6. India's internet subscriber base grew 1.54% to 969.10 million from 954.40 million in FY 2024-25. The growth was led by broadband, up 2.17% to 944.12 million; narrowband declined 17.66% to 24.98 million. The TRAI report is titled 'Indian Telecom Services Annual Performance Indicators'.

वित्त वर्ष 2024-25 में भारत का इंटरनेट ग्राहक आधार 1.54% बढ़कर 954.40 मिलियन से 969.10 मिलियन हो गया। ब्रॉडबैंड के कारण यह वृद्धि 2.17% बढ़कर 944.12 मिलियन हो गई; नैरोबैंड 17.66% घटकर 24.98 मिलियन रह गया। TRAI की रिपोर्ट का शीर्षक 'भारतीय दूरसंचार सेवा वार्षिक प्रदर्शन संकेतक' है।

7. State Bank of India, the country's biggest lender by assets, is preparing to sell 250 billion rupees ($2.9 billion) worth of shares to institutional investors as early as next week. Institutional investors are organisations or entities that invest and manage large sums of money on behalf of other individuals or entities.

संपत्ति के लिहाज से देश का सबसे बड़ा ऋणदाता भारतीय स्टेट बैंक अगले सप्ताह की शुरुआत में संस्थागत निवेशकों को 250 बिलियन रुपये (2.9 बिलियन डॉलर) के शेयर बेचने की तैयारी कर रहा है। संस्थागत निवेशक वे संगठन या संस्थाएं होती हैं जो बड़ी मात्रा में धनराशि को निवेश और प्रबंधन करती हैं, और यह धनराशि वे अन्य व्यक्तियों या संस्थाओं की ओर से प्रबंधित करते हैं।

8. India will host the ISSF World Cup in 2027 and the ISSF Junior World Championship in 2028, the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) confirmed. Both events will be held in New Delhi. Both the ISSF World Cup and the Junior World Championship will feature competitions in rifle, pistol and shotgun disciplines. The 2027 event will be India's sixth time hosting the ISSF World Cup.

भारत 2027 में ISSF विश्व कप और 2028 में ISSF जूनियर विश्व चैंपियनशिप की मेज़बानी करेगा, भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राइफल संघ (NRAI) ने इसकी पुष्टि की। दोनों स्पर्धाओं का आयोजन नई दिल्ली में होगा। ISSF विश्व कप और जूनियर विश्व चैंपियनशिप, दोनों में राइफल, पिस्टल और शॉटगन तीनों ही स्पर्धाओं में प्रतिस्पर्धाएँ होंगी। 2027 का आयोजन भारत द्वारा छठी बार ISSF विश्व कप की मेज़बानी होगी।

9. Recently, the Andhra Pradesh government has officially approved the Amaravati Quantum Valley Declaration (AQVD) to transform Amaravati into India's first quantum valley and a global hub for quantum technologies. This establishes Amaravati as a deep-tech capital aligned with India's National Quantum Mission.

हाल ही में, आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने अमरावती को भारत की पहली क्वांटम घाटी और क्वांटम प्रौद्योगिकियों के लिए एक वैश्विक केंद्र में बदलने के लिए अमरावती क्वांटम घाटी घोषणा (AQVD) को आधिकारिक तौर पर मंजूरी दे दी है। यह अमरावती को भारत के राष्ट्रीय क्वांटम मिशन के साथ जुड़ी एक गहरी तकनीक राजधानी के रूप में स्थापित करता है।

10.  The UAE government has launched a pilot nomination-based Golden Visa programme for residents of India and Bangladesh. Under the “new nomination-based visa policy”, Indians can now enjoy lifetime residency in the UAE by paying a fee of AED 1,00,000 (approximately INR 23.30 lakhs). It aims to boost trade and economic growth.

संयुक्त अरब अमीरात सरकार ने भारत और बांग्लादेश के निवासियों के लिए पायलट नामांकन-आधारित गोल्डन वीज़ा कार्यक्रम शुरू किया है। “नई नामांकन-आधारित वीज़ा नीति” के अंतर्गत, भारतीय अब AED 1,00,000 (लगभग INR 23.30 लाख) का शुल्क देकर UAE में आजीवन निवास का आनंद ले सकते हैं। इसका उद्देश्य व्यापार और आर्थिक विकास को बढ़ाना है।
