1. India reiterated its strong commitment to global disaster risk
reduction and public health cooperation at the Global Platform for Disaster Risk
Reduction (GPDRR) 2025 in Geneva. African Union joins CDRI.
भारत ने जिनेवा में आपदा जोखिम न्यूनीकरण के लिए
वैश्विक मंच (GPDRR) 2025 में वैश्विक आपदा जोखिम न्यूनीकरण और सार्वजनिक
स्वास्थ्य सहयोग के प्रति अपनी दृढ़ प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई है। अफ्रीकी संघ CDRI में शामिल हुआ।
2. The
Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) decided to reduce
the policy repo rate by 50 basis points (bps) to 5.5 per cent. Consequently,
the Standing Deposit Facility (SDF) rate under the Liquidity Adjustment
Facility (LAF) will stand adjusted to 5.25 per cent and the Marginal Standing
Facility (MSF) rate and the Bank Rate to 5.75 per cent.
भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) की मौद्रिक नीति समिति (MPC) ने नीतिगत रेपो दर को 50 आधार अंकों (bps) से घटाकर 5.5 प्रतिशत करने का निर्णय लिया। परिणामस्वरूप, तरलता समायोजन सुविधा (LAF) के अंतर्गत स्थायी जमा सुविधा (SDF) दर 5.25 प्रतिशत और सीमांत स्थायी सुविधा (MSF) दर और बैंक दर 5.75 प्रतिशत तक समायोजित हो जाएगी।
3. In a
landmark initiative to establish India as a global hub for traditional medicine
and health, the Government of India unveiled the ‘Ayush Nivesh Saarthi’ portal.
The investor-focused digital platform developed by the Ministry of AYUSH in
collaboration with Invest India aims to transform India’s traditional health
systems into a strong economic driver.
भारत को पारंपरिक चिकित्सा और स्वास्थ्य के लिए वैश्विक
केंद्र के रूप में स्थापित करने की एक ऐतिहासिक पहल में, भारत सरकार ने ‘आयुष निवेश सारथी’ पोर्टल का अनावरण किया।
आयुष मंत्रालय द्वारा इन्वेस्ट इंडिया के सहयोग से विकसित निवेशक-केंद्रित डिजिटल
प्लेटफ़ॉर्म का उद्देश्य भारत की पारंपरिक स्वास्थ्य प्रणालियों को एक सुदृढ़
आर्थिक चालक में बदलना है।
4. Union
Minister for Minority Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju launched
the UMEED Central Portal in New Delhi, a transformational step towards
modernising the management of waqf properties across India. The UMEED Central
Portal is named after the Integrated Waqf Management, Empowerment, Efficiency
and Development Act, 1995.
केंद्रीय अल्पसंख्यक मामलों और संसदीय मामलों के
मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने नई दिल्ली में UMEED सेंट्रल पोर्टल का शुभारंभ किया, जो पूरे भारत में वक्फ
संपत्तियों के प्रबंधन को आधुनिक बनाने की दिशा में एक परिवर्तनकारी कदम है। UMEED सेंट्रल पोर्टल का नाम एकीकृत वक्फ प्रबंधन, सशक्तीकरण, दक्षता और विकास
अधिनियम, 1995 के नाम पर रखा गया है।
5. During
his visit to Jammu & Kashmir, the Prime Minister, after visiting the Shri
Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station, also flagged off the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi
Katra – Srinagar Vande Bharat Express and inaugurated the world's highest
railway arch bridge constructed over the Chenab River
प्रधानमंत्री ने जम्मू-कश्मीर की अपनी यात्रा के
दौरान श्री माता वैष्णो देवी कटरा स्टेशन का दौरा करने के बाद श्री माता वैष्णो
देवी कटरा-श्रीनगर वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस को भी हरी झंडी दिखाई तथा विश्व की सबसे
ऊँची रेलवे आर्च ब्रिज का उद्गाटन किया ,जिसका निर्माण चेनाब नदी पर किया गया है।
6. The
government will move an impeachment motion against Justice Yashwant Verma of
the Allahabad High Court in the upcoming monsoon session. The move comes
following a committee report that indicted him after undeclared cash was found
at his residence following a fire.
सरकार आगामी मानसून सत्र में इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय के न्यायमूर्ति यशवंत
वर्मा के खिलाफ महाभियोग प्रस्ताव लाएगी। यह कदम एक समिति की रिपोर्ट के बाद उठाया

7. In Jammu and Kashmir, the Army has launched
Operation Shiva, a massive security initiative to provide foolproof security to
the 38-day Amarnath Yatra, which is scheduled to begin on July 3. The annual
pilgrimage draws thousands of devotees to the holy Amarnath cave shrine located
at an altitude of 3,888 metres in Jammu and Kashmir.

8. The
Government of India, in collaboration with the World Health Organization, has
proposed to phase out the National Polio Surveillance Network (NPSN), reducing
the number of networks from 280 in 2024-25 to 140 by 2026-27. It is a
nationwide surveillance system established in 1997 by the World Health
Organization in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
भारत सरकार ने विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन के साथ मिलकर राष्ट्रीय पोलियो निगरानी
नेटवर्क (NPSN) को चरणबद्ध तरीके से समाप्त करने का प्रस्ताव दिया है, जिसके अंतर्गत 2024-25 में 280 से 2026-27 तक 140 तक की
संख्या को कम किया जाएगा।स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय के समन्वय में
विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन द्वारा 1997 में स्थापित यह एक राष्ट्रव्यापी निगरानी
प्रणाली है।
9. Researchers
at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) have developed a metal-based nanozyme
to reverse abnormal blood clotting caused by conditions such as pulmonary
thromboembolism (PTE) and COVID-19-related thrombosis. Nanozymes: Artificial
nanomaterials that mimic antioxidant enzymes to control ROS.
भारतीय विज्ञान संस्थान (IISc) के
शोधकर्ताओं ने पल्मोनरी थ्रोम्बोम्बोलिज़्म (PTE) और COVID-19-संबंधित थ्रोम्बोसिस जैसी स्थितियों के कारण होने वाले असामान्य रक्त के थक्के
को ठीक करने के लिए एक धातु-आधारित नैनोज़ाइम विकसित किया है।
नैनोज़ाइम: कृत्रिम नैनोमटेरियल जो ROS को
नियंत्रित करने के लिए एंटीऑक्सीडेंट एंजाइम की नकल करते हैं।
10. THDC India Limited (under Ministry of Power) announced
Commercial Operation (COD) of first 250 MW unit of India’s first Variable Speed
Pumped Storage Plant (PSP) at Tehri, Uttarakhand. PSP is a type of
hydroelectric storage system where water is pumped from the lower reservoir to
the upper reservoir during low demand (off-peak hours) using surplus
electricity.
THDC इंडिया
लिमिटेड (विद्युत मंत्रालय के अधीन) ने उत्तराखंड के टिहरी में भारत के पहले
वैरिएबल स्पीड पंप स्टोरेज प्लांट (PSP) की
पहली 250 मेगावाट इकाई के वाणिज्यिक संचालन की घोषणा (COD) की
घोषणा की। PSP एक प्रकार की जलविद्युत भंडारण प्रणाली है, जहाँ अधिशेष विद्युत का उपयोग करके कम मांग (ऑफ-पीक ऑवर्स) के
दौरान निचले जलाशय से ऊपरी जलाशय में पानी पंप किया जाता है।
