1. Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) celebrated the 19th Statistics Day on 29 June 2025 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. The day is celebrated every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Professor Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis, a pioneer in the field of statistics and economic planning. Since 2007, Statistics Day is celebrated every year with a theme of national relevance. The theme for the year 2025 is “75 years of National Sample Survey”

सांख्यिकी एवं कार्यक्रम कार्यान्वयन मंत्रालय (एमओएसपीआई) 29 जून 2025 को डॉ. अंबेडकर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय केंद्र, नई दिल्ली में 19वां सांख्यिकी दिवस मनाया गया। यह दिवस सांख्यिकी और आर्थिक नियोजन के क्षेत्र में अग्रणी रहे प्रोफेसर प्रशांत चंद्र महालनोबिस की जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में हर साल मनाया जाता है।  वर्ष 2007 से प्रत्येक वर्ष सांख्यिकी दिवस राष्ट्रीय प्रासंगिकता की थीम के साथ मनाया जाता है। वर्ष 2025 के लिए थीम (विषय) “राष्ट्रीय नमूना सर्वेक्षण के 75 वर्ष” है।

2. The Salkhan Fossil Park in Sonbhadra – one of the oldest fossil sites in the world – has been included in the UNESCO's tentative list of World Heritage Sites. It is located near Salkhan village, about 15 km from Robertsganj in Sonbhadra. An important development in this visit was the signing of an MoU between the UP Eco-Tourism Development Board and the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences, Lucknow.

सोनभद्र में सलखन जीवाश्म पार्क- जो विश्व के सबसे पुराने जीवाश्म स्थलों में से एक है- को UNESCO की विश्व धरोहर स्थलों की अस्थायी सूची में शामिल किया गया है।सोनभद्र में रॉबर्ट्सगंज से लगभग 15 किलोमीटर दूर सलखन गांव के पास स्थित है।इस यात्रा में एक महत्वपूर्ण विकास UP इको-टूरिज्म डेवलपमेंट बोर्ड और बीरबल साहनी इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ पैलियोसाइंसेज, लखनऊ के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर करना था।

3. The central government has appointed Parag Jain, a 1989 batch IPS officer of Punjab cadre, as the new chief of India's foreign intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). He will replace the current chief Ravi Sinha, whose term ends on June 30, 2025. Parag Jain will take over this responsibility for two years from July 1. RAW is India's main foreign intelligence agency, which was formed in 1968.

केंद्र सरकार ने पंजाब कैडर के 1989 बैच के आईपीएस अधिकारी पराग जैन को भारत की विदेशी खुफिया एजेंसी रिसर्च एंड एनालिसिस विंग (रॉ) का नया प्रमुख नियुक्त किया है। वह मौजूदा प्रमुख रवि सिन्हा की जगह लेंगे, जिनका कार्यकाल 30 जून 2025 को समाप्त हो रहा है। पराग जैन 1 जुलाई से दो साल के लिए यह जिम्मेदारी संभालेंगे। रॉ (RAW) भारत की मुख्य विदेशी खुफिया एजेंसी है, जिसे 1968 में गठित किया गया था।

4. In a major step for Sikkim, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved National Highway 210 (NH-210). This new highway will connect Melli in Namchi district to Singtam in Gangtok district. This will be the first national highway to be built completely within the geographical boundary of Sikkim, which will prove to be a milestone in the field of connectivity for the state.

सिक्किम के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाते हुए सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्रालय ने राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 210 (एनएच-210) को मंजूरी दे दी है। यह नया राजमार्ग नामची जिले के मेली को गंगटोक जिले के सिंगताम से जोड़ेगा। यह सिक्किम की भौगोलिक सीमा के भीतर पूरी तरह से निर्मित होने वाला राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग होगा, जो राज्य के लिए कनेक्टिविटी के क्षेत्र में एक मील का पत्थर साबित होगा।

5. This is a U.S.-based mission that will last about five hours during which the crew will orbit the Earth twice, with two sunrises and two sunsets. This will provide uninterrupted zero gravity for about three hours. The mission will be commanded by veteran NASA astronaut and retired US Army Colonel William McArthur Jr.

6. In June 2025, the New Delhi (Delhi)-based National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) developed India’s first dedicated wildlife corridor on a national highway (NH), a 12-kilometre (km) section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway passing through the buffer zone of the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Bundi district of Rajasthan, with an aim to balance infrastructure development with wildlife conservation.

जून 2025 में, नई दिल्ली (दिल्ली) स्थित भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण (एनएचएआई) ने राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग (एनएच) परभारत का पहला समर्पित वन्यजीव गलियारा विकसित किया, जो राजस्थान के बूंदी जिले में रणथंभौर टाइगर रिजर्व के बफर जोन से गुजरने वाले दिल्ली-मुंबई एक्सप्रेसवे का 12 किलोमीटर (किमी) खंड है, जिसका उद्देश्य वन्यजीव संरक्षण के साथ बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास को संतुलित करना है।

7. The United Nations (UN) has launched the 'UN 80 Initiative' led by Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to reform and modernise the organisation on the occasion of its 80th anniversary. The initiative aims to streamline the work of the UN by reducing administrative redundancies, enhancing the implementation of mandates to member states, and restructuring programmes across the UN system to improve global effectiveness.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र (यूएन) ने अपनी 80वीं वर्षगांठ के अवसर पर संगठन में सुधार और आधुनिकीकरण के लिएमहासचिव एंटोनियो गुटेरेस के नेतृत्व में यूएन 80 पहल' शुरू की है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य प्रशासनिक अतिरेक को कम करके, सदस्य देशों के आदेशों के कार्यान्वयन को बढ़ाकर, तथा वैश्विक प्रभावशीलता में सुधार के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र प्रणाली में कार्यक्रमों का पुनर्गठन करके संयुक्त राष्ट्र के कार्यों को सुव्यवस्थित करना है।

8. Indian players won 27 medals at the Asian Para-Badminton Championships 2025 in Thailand. These include four gold, 10 silver and 13 bronze. This is India's best performance in this event. The medal winners include Paris Paralympics gold medalist Nitesh Kumar, silver medalist Tulsimathi Murugesan and bronze medalist Manisha Ramdas.

थाईलैंड में एशियाई पैरा-बैडमिंटन चैंपियनशिप 2025 में भारतीय खिलाड़ियों ने 27 पदक जीते। इनमें चार स्वर्ण, 10 रजत और 13 कांस्य हैं। भारत का इस आयोजन में यह सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन है। पदक विजेताओं में पेरिस पैरालिंपिक के स्वर्ण पदक विजेता नितेश कुमार, रजत पदक विजेता तुलसीमथी मुरुगेसन और कांस्य पदक विजेता मनीषा रामदास शामिल हैं।

9. India has achieved a significant improvement in its external account position by recording a current account surplus of $13.5 billion - equivalent to 1.3% of GDP - for the last quarter of FY25, according to the latest data released by the Reserve Bank of India.Current Account: Measures the flow of goods, services, primary income and transfers. Surplus: It shows that a country is earning more from exports and transfers than it is spending on imports and payments.

भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक द्वारा जारी नवीनतम आंकड़ों के अनुसार, भारत ने वित्त वर्ष 25 की अंतिम तिमाही के लिए 13.5 बिलियन डॉलर का चालू खाता अधिशेष - जीडीपी के 1.3% के बराबर - दर्ज करके अपने बाह्य खाता स्थिति में उल्लेखनीय सुधार हासिल किया है।चालू खाता: वस्तुओं, सेवाओं, प्राथमिक आय और स्थानान्तरण के प्रवाह को मापता है। अधिशेष: यह दर्शाता है कि कोई देश आयात और भुगतान पर जितना खर्च कर रहा है, उससे अधिक वह निर्यात और स्थानान्तरण से कमा रहा है।

10.  The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is preparing to introduce Sabal-50, a new powerful military drone designed to significantly enhance the Indian Army's capabilities in both logistics and warfare. Developed by the institute's Department of Aerospace Engineering, it is capable of withstanding harsh weather and operating at altitudes up to 17,000 feet and is suitable for deployment in challenging environments like the Siachen Glacier.

भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (आईआईटी) कानपुर सबल-50 को पेश करने की तैयारी कर रहा है, जो एक नया शक्तिशाली सैन्य ड्रोन है जिसे रसद और युद्ध दोनों में भारतीय सेना की क्षमताओं को महत्वपूर्ण रूप से बढ़ाने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है। यह संस्थान के एयरोस्पेस इंजीनियरिंग विभाग द्वारा विकसित है। यह कठोर मौसम का सामना करने और 17,000 फीट तक की ऊँचाई पर काम करने तथा  सियाचिन ग्लेशियर जैसे चुनौतीपूर्ण वातावरण में तैनाती के लिए उपयुक्त है।
