How Can I Apply for the June Session of UGC NET 2025?
The steps to apply for the NTA UGC NET 2025 June session are listed below for candidates:
- Go to the ugcnet.nta.ac.in website.
- The "Application form" link at the bottom of the main page should be clicked.
- Select "New Registration."
- Complete the registration by entering the necessary information.
- Complete the application in its entirety.
- Upload scanned copies of your signature (4–30 kb) and passport-size photo (10–200 kb). JPEG format should be used for both photos.
- The UGC NET application fee is INR 1150 for Gen, INR 600 for OBC/EWS, and INR 325 for SC/ST/PwD/transgender.
- Save the form, then submit it.
- Get the confirmation page by downloading it.
UGC NET 2025 Application Correction Window:-

UGC NET 2025 Age Limit As Of 1/06/2025:-
While candidates must be under 30 years old to be considered for a JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), there is no upper age limit for the UGC NET professorship exam. In order to be eligible for NET JRF as of June 1, 2025, candidates must not be older than 30.
Applications for the position of Assistant Professor are accepted at any age.
Candidates from the reserved category are granted an exemption from the age requirement of five years.
UGC NET 2025 Educational Eligibility:-

Candidates must to have finished their post-graduation studies at a college or university approved by the UGC. The minimum score for reserved categories, such as SC, ST, OBC, and PwD, is 50%, whereas the minimum score for general categories is 55%.
Candidates from the reserved category are granted a 5% exemption in their educational requirements.
Candidates are excluded from taking the UGC NET test if they passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) prior to June 1, 2002.

Eligibility by Nationality
Since only Indian citizens are eligible to sit for the UGC NET exam, nationality is a crucial eligibility requirement. Foreign nationals are not eligible to apply for the UGC NET exam. Additionally, candidates who are Indian citizens living abroad may apply for the test. Candidates who are living abroad must provide appropriate proof proving their Indian citizenship.
UGC NET 2025 Exam Pattern:-
There are two papers on the UGC NET exam: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The UGC NET exam takes three hours to complete. Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of the objective type are included in both papers.
