The second shift of the 2nd Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-II) for 7951 positions as Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) under CEN No. 03/2024 has been canceled, according to the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). The board revealed the answer keys Friday for the exam, which was administered in two shifts on April 22, 2025. Nevertheless, the board has discovered that, in spite of these precautions, a technical glitch in the software system caused some of the first shift's questions to be duplicated in the second shift.
Indeed, in accordance with a formal announcement issued by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) Chairpersons, the decision to cancel the second shift was made because certain questions from the first shift were accidentally repeated. When it comes to the development, processing, upkeep, storage, encryption, and management of question sets, the RRBS emphasized their dedication to upholding the strictest confidentiality requirements. For those candidates who showed up for shift 2, the RRB JE CBT 2 Exam will now be held again; the updated dates will be posted on the official website shortly.
