Meaning: A false, absurd, or distorted representation of something

Synonym: mockery, farce, caricature, parody

Antonym: accurate representation, authenticity, sincerity

Example Sentence: The parody of the famous movie turned out to be a travesty, completely missing the essence of the original.

2. APPALLING

Parts of Speech: ADJ.

Meaning: Shockingly bad, horrifying, or causing dismay.

Synonym: dreadful, horrifying, shocking, atrocious
