1. Undergird (Verb): समर्थन करना : To provide a strong foundation or support for something, to reinforce or strengthen something

Synonyms: Bolster, Strengthen, Support, Reinforce, Fortify

Antonyms: Undermine, Weaken, Destabilize, Sabotage

Example Sentence: The team's success is undergirded by their strong work ethic and dedication.

2. Expound (Verb) : प्रस्तुत करना : present and explain (a theory or idea) systematically and in detail.

Synonyms: express, voice, state, put forward

Example Sentence: The purpose of the author’s second book is to expound the
philosophical theories he proposed in his first work.

3. Ostensible (Adjective) : Stated or appearing to be true, but not necessarily so

Synonyms: Apparent, Seeming, Supposed, Alleged, Perceived

Antonyms: Actual, Genuine, Real, Authentic

Example Sentence:His ostensible reason for being late was traffic, but in reality, he just overslept.

4. Susceptibility (Noun): अतिसंवेदनशीलता :  the state or fact of being likely or liable to be influenced or harmed by a particular thing

Synonyms: vulnerability, sensitivity, receptiveness

Antonyms: immunity, resistance, insusceptibility

Example Sentence: Some people have a higher susceptibility to colds and coughs than others.

5. Behove (Verb) : उपयुक्त होना, उचित होना : To be appropriate, necessary, or advantageous for someone to do something; it is a duty or responsibility for someone to do something

Synonyms: Befit, suit, fit, benefit, advantage

Antonyms: Misfit, be unsuitable, be unfitting

Example Sentence: As a responsible citizen, it behoves us to follow traffic rules and keep
the streets safe for everyone.

6. Lambent (Adjective): चमकीला : glowing, gleaming, or flickering with a soft radiance

Synonyms: Glowing, radiant, shining, flickering, shimmering, sparkling

Antonyms: Dull, dark, gloomy

Example Sentence: The moon cast a lambent glow on the lake, creating a peaceful
and serene atmosphere.

7. Clamour(Verb) : शोर मचाना : A loud and confused noise, especially that of people
shouting.

Synonyms: Noise, racket, uproar, commotion, tumult

Antonyms: Silence, quietness, calm, stillness

Example Sentence:The clamour of the protesters outside the building could
be heard from inside.

8. Sedulous(Adjective) :मेहनती, परिश्रमी Diligent and hardworking.

Synonyms: Assiduous, industrious, hardworking, diligent, persevering

Antonyms: Lazy, idle, careless, lethargic

Example Sentence: Her sedulous efforts paid off when she was promoted to
manager after only a year at the company.

9. Face the music (Idiom) : To face the consequences or accept the punishment for one's actions.

Synonyms: Confront the consequences, accept responsibility, bear the brunt

Antonym: Avoidance, evasion, escape

Example Sentence:After being caught cheating in the exam, he had to face the music and
accept the disciplinary action taken by the school.

10. Talk Through One's Hat (Idiom) : To speak without knowledge or understanding, to make false or exaggerated statements.

Synonyms: Talk nonsense, blabber

Antonym: Speak with knowledge, speak truthfully, be well-informed

Example Sentence: He claimed to be an expert in finance, but when asked to explain basic financial concepts, he was clearly talking through his hat.
