1. Pragmatic (Adjective): व्यावहारिक : dealing with things sensibly and realistically in a way that is based on practical rather than theoretical considerations

Synonyms: practical, sensible, realistic, logical, rational

Antonyms: idealistic, impractical, unrealistic, theoretical

Example Sentence: Even though a theoretical solution would be great, a pragmatic solution would have a more positive effect on the crisis.

2. Maze (Noun / Verb) : उलझन : a network of paths and hedges designed as a puzzle through which one has to find a way; be dazed and confused

Synonyms: labyrinth, warren, tangle

Antonyms: certainty, line, order

Example Sentence: I'm just a little bit caught in the middle. Life is a maze and I don't know where to go, can't do it

3. Truce (Noun) : युद्ध-विराम : a short interruption in a war or argument, or an agreement to stop fighting or arguing for a period of time

Synonyms: armistice, cease-fire

Antonyms: war, hostilities, conflict

Example Sentence: Hopefully the truce will last long enough for the leaders to agree to a peace treaty.

4. Foolproof (Adjective) : incapable of going wrong or being misused

Synonyms: flawless, reliable, infallible

Antonyms: imperfect, flawed, defective

Example Sentence: We were told that the backup generator was foolproof, but this was proven false when there was a power outage and it didn’t come on.

5. Ennoble (Verb) : सम्मानित करना : give (someone) a noble rank or title.

Synonyms: exalt, glorify, magnanimous

Antonyms: debase, degrade, demean

Example Sentence: The police commissioner will ennoble Officer Pantowski with a medal for service above and beyond the call of duty, an honor few officers receive.

6. Flimsy (Adjective) : कमज़ोर : comparatively light and insubstantial; easily damaged.

Synonyms: fragile, insubstantial, feeble, light

Antonyms: sturdy, substantial, strong

Example Sentence: The storm flattened the flimsy wooden huts that the villagers lived in.

7. Veracious (Adjective) : सत्यनिष्ठ : honest and not telling or containing any lies

Synonyms: honest, truthful, genuine

Antonyms: mendacious, dishonest, untruthful

Example Sentence: He was a strictly veracious reporter.

8. Carrot And Stick Policy (Idiom): offer of reward and threat of punishment policy

Synonyms: reward and punishment system

Example Sentence: I've always believed that the carrot-andstick method is the best way to achieve results with your team.

9. Pestilent (Adjective) : विनाशक : likely to cause or capable of causing death

Synonyms: lethal, deadly, harmful

Antonyms: salubrious, beneficial, salutary

Example Sentence: Smallpox is a pestilent disease.

10. Adeptness (Adjective) : निपुणता : subtle or imaginative ability in inventing, devising, or executing something

Synonyms: skillfulness, adroitness, proficiency

Antonyms: ineptitude, ineptness, artlessness

Example Sentence:His quick adeptness was a product of good design.
