1. Pernicious (Adjective) : हानिकारक : having a harmful effect, especially in a gradual or subtle way

Synonyms: harmful, damaging, destructive

Antonyms: anodyne, benign, harmless

Example Sentence: Violence in the workplace is pernicious to an employee’s need for safety.

2. Feisty (Adjective) : लडाकू : feeling or displaying an eagerness to fight

Synonyms: aggressive, agonistic, argumentative

Antonyms: nonaggressive, nonbelligerent, pacific

Example Sentence: He’s a pretty feisty kid, isn’t he?

3. Grousing (Verb): बड़बड़ाना / शिकायत : complain pettily; grumble

Synonyms: grumble, complain, moan

Antonyms: commendation, compliment, plaudit

Example Sentence: She heard him grousing about his assistant.

4. Peregrination (Noun) : सफ़र : a journey, especially a long or meandering one.

Synonyms: travels, voyages, journey

Example Sentence: While Ted learned a lot in college, he felt he learned even more during his peregrination in a povertystricken country.

5. Gingerly (Adverb): सावधानी से : in a careful or cautious manner.

Synonyms: cautiously, carefully, circumspectly

Antonyms: careless, heedless, unmindful

Example Sentence: He opened the box gingerly and looked inside.

6.Luminary (Noun): प्रभावशाली व्यक्ति : a person who inspires or influences others, especially one prominent in a particular sphere.

Synonyms: guiding light, inspiration, leader

Example Sentence: Luminaries from the worlds of sports, entertainment, and politics were at the gala.

7.Mire (Noun): मुसीबत में फसना : a situation or state of difficulty, distress, or embarrassment from which it is hard to extricate oneself.

Synonyms: rattrap, difficult situation

Example Sentence: The book tells how a homeless man overcame the mire of business to become a successful entrepreneur.

8. Poltroonery (Noun): कायरता : a shameful lack of courage in the face of danger

Synonyms: fearfulness, cowardice, cravenness

Antonyms: bravery, courage, daring

Example Sentence: Decried the poltroonery of those politicians who caved in to pressure from the special interests.

9-Acquitted(Verb) : निर्दोष साबित होना : Persons who have been declared not guilty of a crime

Synonyms : Exonerated , Excused

Antonyms : Guilty , Accused

Example Sentence : None of the acquitted received any kind of compensation or redress.

10-Elapsed(Verb) : व्‍यतीत होना : Pass, go by

Synonyms: Ended , Finished

Antonyms : Alive , Existing

Example Sentence : Thirty minutes elapsed before the performance began.
