Candidates can easily pass the RRB Group D exam with little effort if they get well-versed with the RRB Group D syllabus. Candidates should also practice RRB Group D question papers from previous years and take mock exams. To crack the exam successfully, Candidates should design their RRB Group 2022 exam strategy appropriately.

Railway Group D Exam Pattern

The RRB Group D test has two levels. First, candidates must ensure that they achieve the highest possible CBT score to be selected.

The CBT is divided into four portions as follows:

  • Mathematics (25 marks)

  • General knowledge and current affairs (20 marks)

Important points to remember about the exam pattern-

  2. The negative marking scheme used during the examination deducts 1/3 marks for each incorrect answer.

  3. Each correctly answered question will receive one mark.

  4. The Computer Based Test(CBT) will be the initial stage of the selection process.

  5. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be scheduled for those who pass this stage.

Railway Group D Exam Preparation Tips

The candidate must follow specific recommendations and procedures to do better in the RRB Group D test. The following are subject-specific Railway Group D exam 2022 tips & tricks:

  1. Time Management

Candidates must be adept in time management from the first day of preparation. Preparing a timetable is critical since candidates can plan their studies around that schedule. In addition, it boosts your self-assurance while also increasing your productivity.

  1. Plan your study

It is vital to study in detail the exam pattern and curriculum of the exam. This will assist you in properly planning out your studies. For all three sections of the question paper, General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning, candidates are recommended to follow an appropriate strategy and timetable. An intense study strategy is essential for passing any exam.

  1. Practice

During this time of preparation, RRB Group D mock test should be your best friend. You will become perfect with practice. Make an effort to take the daily mock tests. This will assist you in identifying your weaker and stronger portions so that you may concentrate on them. And then plan your preparedness around that. Try to attempt mock tests with your friends. This practice will aid you throughout the actual exam. You can also take up the RRB course online for better understanding.

  1. Daily Reading

Keep your General Awareness up to date by reading magazines and newspapers and watching news channels. It will assist you in preparing for the Railway Group D Exam's General Awareness (GA) and Current Affairs segment.

  1. Subject-wise preparation

Continuous revision is possibly the most crucial aspect of RRB Group D mathematics preparation. Despite appearances, preparing for the Mathematics section is not difficult.

The reasoning section is pretty extensive and covers a lot of ground. However, this phase can only be completed if you fully comprehend the topic and practice regularly. To strengthen your logical skills, solve puzzles.

Applicants should refer to core science ideas from 10th and 12th grade when studying for the General Science section. Because most questions will come from the 10th and 12th-grade syllabus, studying NCERT textbooks during the RRB Group D preparation process will help you strengthen your knowledge of the topic.
