Answer Key-

3x - 5y = 19 ----(1)

3y-7x+1=0

7x-3y=1 ---(2)

Subtract equation (1) from eq ation (2) after multiply by 3 in equation (1) and multiply by 5 in equation (2)

⇒x=(-2)

Put x=(-2) in equation (1)

3x (-2)-5y = 19

⇒6-5y-19

⇒-5y = 19 + 6 = 25

⇒ y = -25/5 = (-5)

a = (-2) and B = (-5)

Now (3a-3)

3x (-2)-(-5)

=(-6)+5

=(-1)

2-Sol-(C)

2x + 3y = 11----(1)

x-2y =(-12) ----(2) Multiply by 2 in equation (2) and after that subtract equation (2

7y = 35

y = 5

From equation (1)

2x+3x5=11

= 2x= 11-15

- 2x=(-4)

x=(-2)

So x = (-2) and y = 5

If equation x-2y =(-12) intersects the x-axis at P(x2 y2) then y

x-0 =(-12)

x=(-12)

x=(-12) and y: 0

Now (X-X + y + y)

-2+12+5=15
