Soumik’s age = z

According to the question,

x = 3y … (I)

y – z = 6 … (II)

x + 20 = 2.5 (z + 20)

x – 2.5z = 30 … (III)

From (I), (II) and (III0, we get

x = 90, y = 30, z = 24

Present age of all three = 90 + 30 + 24 + 45 = 189 months = 15 years 9 months
