- Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Noida International Airport (NIA) in Jewar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh on 25 November, 2021.
- प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी 25 नवंबर ने जेवर, गौतम बुद्ध नगर, उत्तरप्रदेश में नोएडा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे (एनआईए) की आधारशिला रखी।
- The development of the first phase of the airport is being done with a cost of over Rs 10,050 crore. Spread over more than 1300 hectares of land, the completed first phase of the airport will have a capacity to serve around 1.2 crore passengers a year and work on it is scheduled to be completed by 2024. It will be executed by the international bidder Zurich Airport International AG as concessionaire. The groundwork for the first phase regarding land acquisition and rehabilitation of the affected families has been completed.
- यह भारत का पहला ऐसा हवाई अड्डा होगा, जहां उत्सर्जन शुद्ध रूप से शून्य होगा। हवाई अड्डे ने एक ऐसा समर्पित भूखंड चिह्नित किया है, जहां परियोजना स्थल से हटाये जाने वाले वृक्षों को लगाया जायेगा। इस तरह उसे जंगलमय पार्क का रूप दिया जायेगा। एनआईए वहां के सभी मूल जंतुओं की सुरक्षा करेगा और हवाई अड्डे के विकास के दौरान प्रकृति का पूरा ध्यान रखा जायेगा।
- The development of the airport is in line with the vision of the Prime Minister towards boosting connectivity and creating a future-ready aviation sector. A special focus of this grand vision has been on the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP) that is witnessing the development of multiple new international airports including the recently inaugurated Kushinagar airport and the under construction international airport at Ayodhya.
- इस हवाई अड्डे का विकास संपर्कता बढ़ाने और भविष्य के लिये तैयार विमानन सेक्टर की रचना की दिशा में प्रधानमंत्री की दृष्टि के अनुपालन में किया जा रहा है। इस वृहत दृष्टि का विशेष ध्यान उत्तरप्रदेश पर है, जहां अनेक नये अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डों का विकास हो रहा है, जिनमें कुशीनगर हवाई अड्डे का हाल में उद्घाटन हो चुका है और अयोध्या में एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे का निर्माण-कार्य चल रहा है।
- With the opening of Noida International Airport (NIA), Uttar Pradesh will become the only state in India to have five international airports. This airport will be the second international airport to come up in Delhi NCR. It will help decongest the IGI Airport. It is strategically located and will serve the people of cities including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Agra, Faridabad and neighbouring areas.
- नोएडा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे (एनआईए) के साथ उत्तर प्रदेश देश का एकमात्र ऐसा राज्य होगा जहां पांच अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे बनाये जा रहे हैं। राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली में यह दूसरा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डा होगा। इससे इंदिरा गांधी इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट पर दबाव को कम करने में मदद मिलेगी। यह रणनीतिक रूप से स्थित है तथा दिल्ली, नोएडा, गाजियाबाद, अलीगढ़, आगरा, फरीदाबाद सहित शहरी आबादी और पड़ोसी इलाकों की सेवा करेगा।
- The airport will be the logistics gateway of northern India. Due to its scale and capacity, the airport will be a gamechanger for UP. It will unleash the potential of UP to the world, and help establish the state on the global logistics map.
- हवाई अड्डा उत्तरी भारत के लिये लॉजिस्टिक्स का द्वार बनेगा। अपने विस्तृत पैमाने और क्षमता के कारण, हवाई अड्डा उत्तरप्रदेश के परिदृश्य को बदल देगा। वह दुनिया के सामने उत्तरप्रदेश की क्षमता को उजागर करेगा और राज्य को वैश्विक लॉजिस्टिक मानचित्र में स्थापित होने में मदद करेगा।
- For the first time, an airport in India has been conceptualised with an integrated multi modal cargo hub, with a focus on reducing the total cost and time for logistics. The dedicated cargo terminal will have a capacity of 20 lakh metric tonne, which will be expanded to 80 lakh metric tonne.
- पहली बार भारत में किसी ऐसे हवाई अड्डे की परिकल्पना की गई है, जहां एकीकृत मल्टी मॉडल कार्गो केंद्र हो तथा जहां सारा ध्यान लॉजिस्टिक सम्बंधी खर्चों और समय में कमी लाने पर हो। समर्पित कार्गो टर्मिनल की क्षमता 20 लाख मीट्रिक टन होगी, जिसे बढ़ाकर 80 लाख मीट्रिक टन कर दिया जायेगा।
- Through facilitating seamless movement of industrial products, the airport will play a crucial role in helping the region attract huge investments, boost rapid industrial growth, and enable reach of local products to national and international markets. This will bring new opportunities for numerous enterprises, and also create tremendous employment opportunities.
- औद्योगिक उत्पादों के निर्बाध आवागमन की सुविधा के जरिये, यह हवाई अड्डा क्षेत्र में भारी निवेश को आकर्षित करने, औद्योगिक विकास की गति बढ़ाने और स्थानीय उत्पादों को राष्ट्रीय तथा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाजारों तक पहुंचाने में अहम भूमिका निभायेगा। इससे नये उद्यमों को अधिसंख्य अवसर मिलेंगे तथा रोजगार के मौके भी पैदा होंगे।
- The airport will develop a Ground Transportation Centre that will feature a multimodal transit hub, housing metro and high-speed rail stations, taxi, bus services and private parking. This will enable seamless connectivity of the airport with road, rail, and metro. Noida and Delhi will be connected to the airport through hassle free metro service. All major nearby roads and highways like the Yamuna Expressway, Western Peripheral Expressway, Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and others will be connected to the airport. The airport will also be linked to the planned Delhi-Varanasi High Speed Rail, enabling the journey between Delhi and airport in only 21 minutes.
- हवाई अड्डे में ग्राउंड ट्रांस्पोर्टेशन सेंटर विकसित किया जायेगा, जिसमें मल्टी मॉडल ट्रांजिट केंद्र होगा, मेट्रो और हाई स्पीड रेलवे के स्टेशन होंगे, टैक्सी, बस सेवा और निजी वाहन पार्किंग सुविधा मौजूद होगी। इस तरह हवाई अड्डा सड़क, रेल और मेट्रो से सीधे जुड़ने में सक्षम हो जायेगा। नोएडा और दिल्ली को निर्बाध मेट्रो सेवा के जरिये जोड़ा जायेगा। आसपास के सभी प्रमुख मार्ग और राजमार्ग, जैसे यमुना एक्सप्रेस-वे, वेस्टर्न पेरीफेरल एक्सप्रेस-वे, ईस्टर्न पेरीफेरल एक्सप्रेस-वे, दिल्ली-मुम्बई एक्सप्रेस-वे तथा अन्य भी हवाई अड्डे से जोड़े जायेंगे। हवाई अड्डे को प्रस्तावित दिल्ली-वाराणसी हाई स्पीड रेल से भी जोड़ने की योजना है, जिसके कारण दिल्ली और हवाई अड्डे के बीच का सफर मात्र 21 मिनट का हो जायेगा।
- The airport will also house a state-of-art MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhauling) Service. The design of the airport is focussed on low operating costs and seamless and fast transfer processes for passengers. The airport is introducing a swing aircraft stand concept, providing flexibility for airlines to operate an aircraft for both domestic and international flights from the same contact stand, without having to re-position the aircraft. This will ensure quick and efficient aircraft turnarounds at the airport, while ensuring a smooth and seamless passenger transfer process.
- हवाई अड्डे में उत्कृष्ट एमआरओ (मेंटेनेंस, रिपेयर और ओवरहॉलिंग) सेवा भी होगी। हवाई अड्डे की डिजाइन बनाने में इस बात का ध्यान रखा गया है कि परिचालन खर्च कम हो तथा निर्बाध और तेजी से यात्रियों का आवागमन हो सके। हवाई अड्डे में टर्मिनल के नजदीक ही हवाई जहाजों को खड़ा करने की सुविधा होगी, ताकि उसी स्थान से घरेलू और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय उड़ानों के परिचालन में वायुसेवाओं को आसानी हो। इसके कारण हवाई अड्डे पर हवाई जहाज जल्दी से काम पर लग जायेंगे तथा यात्रियों के आवागमन भी निर्बाध और तेजी से संभव होगा।
- It will be India’s first net zero emissions airport. It has earmarked dedicated land to be developed as forest park using trees from the project site. NIA will preserve all native species and be nature positive throughout the development of the airport.
