SSC GD Constable Notification 2021 Out !

The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifiles (AR) as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission. The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination & Document Verification.

SSC GD Constable 2021 Notification has been released by the Commission to recruit 25271 posts of constables for both male female. SSC GD Constable 2021: Vacancies

The total number of vacancies for SSC GD Constable 2021 exam has been released along with its notification. SSC has announced 25271 vacancies for the post of constables in which 22424 posts are available for male candidates and for 2847 female candidates. SSC GD Constable 2021: Age Limit 

18-23 Years as on 01.08.2021. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.08.1998 and later than 01.08.2003.

SSC GD Constable 2021: Application Fee

Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only).

Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

SSC GD Constable 2021: Education Qualification (As on 01.08.2021) 

The Candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board / University.

Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as on the stipulated date will not be eligible and need not apply.

SSC GD Constable 2021: Exam Pattern

Computer Based Examination 

The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks, with the following composition. All questions will be Objective Multiple Choice Type. 

The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC GD Constable 2021: Syllabus

The syllabus for the Examination will be as follows: 

A. General Intelligence & Reasoning: Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non- verbal series, coding and decoding, etc. 

B. General Knowledge and General Awareness: Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, and scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline. 

C. Elementary Mathematics: This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc. 

D. English/ Hindi: Candidates’ ability to understand basic English/ Hindi and his basic comprehension would be tested. 

The questions in all the above components will be of Matriculation level.
