Answer Key-

Q-(1) Sol-(4)

Relative average speed =2×90×60/(90+60) = 72 km/hr.

Q-(2) Sol-(2)

Let the monthly income of Deepak and Aakash are 3x and 5x respectively.

According to the question,

27x - 7200 = 25x - 6000

2x = 1200

x = 600
Monthly income of Aakash = 5 × 600 = Rs.3000

Q-(3) Sol-(1)

110/125×100=88%

Q-(4) Sol-(3)

34

Q-(5) Sol-(2)

5×x=x2×2–3

x=–1/2, 3

Q-(6) Sol-(1)
The correct average corresponding to the correct score =

(50×40–83+53)/50

= 39.4

Q-(7) Sol-(3)

20% - 16% = 400

4% = 400

1% = 100

100% = 10000

Q-(8) Sol-(3)

Required answer=25%

Q-(9) Sol-(2)

4% = 720

1% = 180

100% = 18000

Aron's salary = 18000 × (100/120)

= Rs.15000

Q-(10) Sol-(1)

Required answer=2400
