1- Union Minister of State for Culture & Tourism (IC), Prahlad Singh Patel launched the E-Portal of Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) ‘Digital Bharat Digital Sanskriti’ and CCRT YouTube Channel in New Delhi. On this Occasion Union Minister also released a film ‘Rahas’ directed by Sunil Shukla.
केंद्रीय संस्कृति और पर्यटन राज्य मंत्री (आईसी), प्रहलाद सिंह पटेल ने नई दिल्ली में सेंटर फॉर कल्चरल रिसोर्सेज एंड ट्रेनिंग (CCRT) Bharat डिजिटल भारत डिजिटल संस्कृतिक ’और CCRT YouTube चैनल का ई-पोर्टल लॉन्च किया। इस अवसर पर केंद्रीय मंत्री ने सुनील शुक्ला द्वारा निर्देशित एक फ़िल्म 'रहस' भी रिलीज़ की।
2- The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has launched a cinema advertisement campaign ‘Feed Our Future’ to raise awareness and take steps against hunger and malnutrition in India. This programme held in Facebook's Mumbai office, Maharashtra with support from UFO Moviez India Limited and Indian digital cinema distribution network.

3- Government of India has decided to open the entire area from Siachen base camp to Kumar Post for tourism purposes. The step has been taken to boost tourism in Ladakh. It will also give people a window to appreciate the tough work done by Army jawans and engineers in extreme weather and inhospitable terrains. The Glacier came under the strategic control of India in 1984 following ‘Operation Meghdoot’.
भारत सरकार ने पर्यटन के उद्देश्य से सियाचिन बेस शिविर से कुमार पोस्ट तक पूरे क्षेत्र को खोलने का निर्णय लिया है। लद्दाख में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए यह कदम उठाया गया है। 'ऑपरेशन मेघदूत’ के बाद ग्लेशियर 1984 में भारत के रणनीतिक नियंत्रण में आ गया।
4- World’s oldest natural pearl named ‘Abu Dhabi Pearl’ has been discovered on an island off Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The 8,000-year-old pearl was found during excavations at Marawah Island which also revealed the earliest architecture in the UAE.
संयुक्त अरब अमीरात की राजधानी अबू धाबी से दूर एक द्वीप पर 'अबू धाबी पर्ल' नाम का दुनिया का सबसे पुराना प्राकृतिक मोती खोजा गया है। 8,000 साल पुराने मोती को मारवाह द्वीप में खुदाई के दौरान पाया गया था, जिसने संयुक्त अरब अमीरात में सबसे प्राचीन वास्तुकला का खुलासा किया था।
5- Jennifer Aniston to receive People’s Icon Award 2019 at the 2019 People’s Choice Awards. The actress would be the 2nd-ever recipient of the title. 50-year-old Aniston has played the most iconic, unforgettable characters and has conquered comedy and drama on both the small and big screen. She is a 7-time People’s Choice Award winner.

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer “Gully Boy” won the best film from India award in the regional finals at the Asian Academy Creative Awards ceremony. Netflix series “Delhi Crime” has won in a number of categories at the Asian Academy Creative Awards.

7- The Defence Acquisition Council has approved 3 projects worth Rs 3,300 crore of “indigenously designed and developed equipments”.The projects include 3rd generation Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGM) and Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) for the T-72 and T-90 Tanks to be executed by the Indian industry.
रक्षा अधिग्रहण परिषद ने "स्वदेशी रूप से डिजाइन और विकसित उपकरणों" की 3,300 करोड़ रुपये की 3 परियोजनाओं को मंजूरी दी है। परियोजनाओं में भारतीय उद्योग द्वारा निष्पादित की जाने वाली टी -72 और टी -90 टैंकों के लिए तीसरी पीढ़ी के एंटी-टैंक गाइडेड मिसाइल (एटीजीएम) और सहायक विद्युत इकाइयां (एपीयू) शामिल हैं।

गुटनिरपेक्ष आंदोलन (NAM) शिखर सम्मेलन 25 अक्टूबर से 26 अक्टूबर 2019 के बीच बाकू, अजरबैजान में आयोजित होगा। एनएएम के 18 वें शिखर सम्मेलन की मेजबानी एच.ई. श्री इल्हाम अलीयेव, अज़रबैजान गणराज्य के अध्यक्ष करेंगे।
9- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated Col. Chewang Rinchen Setu (Bridge) which has been constructed at an altitude of 14,650 feet in the forward area of Ladakh region. It is named in honour of Colonel Chewang Rinchen who was one of the highly decorated officers in Indian Army from Ladakh. He was also a Maha Vir Chakara awardee (1952).
रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने कर्नल चेवांग रिनचेन सेतु (ब्रिज) का उद्घाटन किया, जिसका निर्माण लद्दाख क्षेत्र के आगे के क्षेत्र में 14,650 फीट की ऊंचाई पर किया गया है। इसका नाम कर्नल चेवांग रिनचेन के सम्मान में रखा गया है जो लद्दाख से भारतीय सेना में उच्च पदस्थ अधिकारियों में से एक थे। वह महावीर चक्र पुरस्कार विजेता (1952) भी थे।
