4- Assam govt starts scholarship scheme for children of tea tribe community
The Assam government has decided to start a scholarship scheme for children of tea tribe community, studying in 10th and 12th classes. It would cover students of all tea gardens in the state.
An amount of 10 thousand rupees will be provided to each student. This was decided in a meeting of State Level Advisory Committee for the Welfare of the Tea Community held in Guwahati, in presence of Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal.
To make the intended beneficiaries aware of the various schemes being implemented by the state and the Centre, ‘Shramik Mitras’ would be appointed in every tea garden.
असम सरकार ने चाय जनजाति समुदाय के बच्चों के लिए छात्रवृत्ति योजना शुरू की
असम सरकार ने 10 वीं और 12 वीं कक्षाओं में अध्ययन करने वाले, चाय जनजाति समुदाय के बच्चों के लिए एक छात्रवृत्ति योजना शुरू करने का निर्णय लिया है। इसमें राज्य के सभी चाय बागानों के छात्रों को शामिल किया जाएगा।
प्रत्येक छात्र को 10 हजार रुपये की राशि प्रदान की जाएगी। मुख्यमंत्री सर्बानंद सोनोवाल की उपस्थिति में गुवाहाटी में आयोजित चाय समुदाय के कल्याण के लिए राज्य स्तरीय सलाहकार समिति की बैठक में यह निर्णय लिया गया।
राज्य और केंद्र द्वारा कार्यान्वित की जा रही विभिन्न योजनाओं से संबंधित लाभार्थियों को अवगत कराने के लिए, 'श्रमिक मित्र’ को हर चाय बागान में नियुक्त किया जाएगा।
