1- CEC Sunil Arora assumes charge as AWEB Chairman
Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora assumed Chairmanship of Association of World Election Bodies, AWEB for the term 2019-21 as India takes over the Chair from Romania.
The AWEB Flag was handed over to the new Chairman, Sunil Arora and it will remain with Election Commission of India for the two year term till 2021.

मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त सुनील अरोड़ा ने एसोसिएशन ऑफ वर्ल्ड इलेक्शन बॉडीज (AWEB) की अध्यक्षता का पदभार 2019-21 के लिए संभाला। इस बार क्योंकि भारत को रोमानिया से अध्यक्ष का पद स्थानांतरित हुआ है।
AWEB ध्वज को नए अध्यक्ष सुनील अरोड़ा को सौंप दिया गया और यह 2021 तक दो साल के कार्यकाल के लिए भारत के चुनाव आयोग के पास रहेगा।

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met speaker of the Maldives Parliament Mohamed Nasheed in Male. The two leaders discussed with him ways to work together on shared goals.
Dr. Jaishankar is in the Maldives to attend the 4th edition of the Indian Ocean Conference. Mr Nasheed also served as the fourth President of the Maldives from 2008 to 2012. He was the first democratically elected president of the Maldives and one of the founders of the Maldivian Democratic Party.

विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने माले में मालदीव की संसद के अध्यक्ष मोहम्मद नशीद से मुलाकात की। दोनों नेताओं ने साझा लक्ष्यों पर एक साथ काम करने के तरीकों पर चर्चा की।
डॉ. जयशंकर हिंद महासागर सम्मेलन के चौथे संस्करण में भाग लेने के लिए मालदीव में हैं। श्री नशीद ने 2008 से 2012 तक मालदीव के चौथे राष्ट्रपति के रूप में भी काम किया। वह मालदीव के पहले लोकतांत्रिक रूप से निर्वाचित राष्ट्रपति थे और मालदीवियन डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी के संस्थापकों में से एक थे।

भारत के पूर्व स्पिनर सुनील जोशी को एक साल के कार्यकाल के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश रणजी टीम का कोच नियुक्त किया गया है, उत्तर प्रदेश क्रिकेट संघ (यूपीसीए) ने घोषणा की है।
4- Vaishno Devi shrine has been declared as the 'Best Swachh Iconic' place in the country
Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir has been declared as the 'Best Swachh Iconic' place in the country in the 'Swachh Iconic Places' list released by Jal Shakti Ministry. It was adjudged on the basis of overall improvement in sanitation. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) in Mumbai has also been named as the 'Best Swachh Iconic' place.
देश में वैष्णो देवी तीर्थस्थल को 'सर्वश्रेष्ठ स्वच्छ आइकोनिक' घोषित किया गया है
जम्मू-कश्मीर में वैष्णो देवी तीर्थस्थल को जल शक्ति मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी की गई स्वच्छ प्रतिष्ठित स्थानों 'सूची में देश में सर्वश्रेष्ठ स्वच्छ आइकोनिक' के रूप में घोषित किया गया है। यह स्वच्छता में समग्र सुधार के आधार पर घोषित किया गया था। मुंबई में छत्रपति शिवाजी टर्मिनस (सीएसटी) को भी 'सर्वश्रेष्ठ स्वच्छ आइकोनिक' के रूप में नामित किया गया है।
