1- Mithali Raj announces retirement from T20 Internationals
Mithali Raj decided to quit T20 Internationals after a career spanning 89 matches in which she scored 2364 runs and 17 half-centuries. She led India in 32 T20Is.
Mithali Raj was captain when India played their first-ever women's T20 International in Derby in 2006. In 89 T20 Internationals, Mithali scored 2364 runs including 17 fifties with a career-best 97 not out.

2- SBI to launch RuPay credit card
State Bank of India (SBI) Card will soon launch RuPay credit cards, a development which will give a boost to the homegrown payment network in the fast-growing segment.
RuPay is the first-of-its-kind domestic debit and credit card payment network of India developed by NPCI.
As of now, RuPay cards are accepted only in a few countries, including Singapore and Bhutan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently launched the card in UAE.

3- Bangladesh signs agreement with India's Reliance Power for gas-based power Plant
The government of Bangladesh has signed an agreement with Reliance Power of India to set up 750 MW gas-based power plant in Meghnahat near Dhaka.
The construction of the plant will be completed by 2022.
An MoU has also been signed with Petro Bangla to set up 500 mmscfd LNG terminal at Kutubdia Island near Chittagong in Bangladesh.
Under the agreement, Bangladesh will purchase electricity from the project for a period of 22 years at a pre-decided tariff rate equivalent to Tk 5.85 per unit at a total cost of approximately 8 billion dollars.
Energy Adviser to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury and High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das were present during the signing of the agreement along with other senior government officials.

4- Nepal: School built with India's assistance inaugurated
Nepal’s Attorney General Agni Prasad Kharel and Ambassador of India to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri jointly inaugurated a school building constructed with India's assistance in Jhapa District.
The new building of Shree Schoolchaun Higher Secondary School has been built with Government of India’s grant of 35.70 million Nepali Rupees.
The two-story building comprises 25 classrooms, laboratory, library, multipurpose hall, rooms for principal, staff and accounts section and separate toilets for boys and girls on each floor.
The newly built infrastructure is expected to boost the learning environment of the students.
