Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel has inaugurated gallery of confiscated and retrieved antiquities at Purana Quila in New Delhi.
The gallery was established by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The displayed antiquities will sensitize the public towards the illegal trade of the nation's heritage. The gallery will remain open for public from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. (except Friday).

केंद्रीय संस्कृति और पर्यटन मंत्री प्रहलाद सिंह पटेल ने नई दिल्ली में पुराना किला में जब्त और प्राप्त पुरावशेषों की गैलरी का उद्घाटन किया।
गैलरी को भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण (एएसआई) द्वारा स्थापित किया गया था। प्रदर्शित वस्तुऐं राष्ट्र की विरासत के अवैध व्यापार के प्रति जनता को संवेदनशील बनाएगी। गैलरी सुबह 10 बजे से से शाम 5 तक (शुक्रवार को छोड़कर) जनता के लिए खुली रहेगी।

Young shooter Yashaswini Singh Deswal won gold in the women's 10meter Air Pistol event at the ISSF World Cup at in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. With the win, she has also secured an Olympic quota for India.
This is India's ninth quota in shooting for 2020 Tokyo Games. World no.1 Olena Kostevych of Ukraine claimed the silver, while Serbia's Jasmina Milavonovic bagged the bronze.

The Asian Games gold medallist came up with the best throw of 20.09m in his last attempt at the event. Tajinder has been awarded the Arjuna Award this year.

The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) has partnered with Google to roll out 'Build for Digital India'. The program aims to give engineering students a platform to develop market-ready technology-based solutions to address key social issues in areas like healthcare and women safety. Google will give mentorship sessions in design and technology to the most promising products.
