1- 38th Sharjah International Book Fair to be organized from 30th Oct to 9th of Nov
The 38th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) will be organized from 30th of October to 9th of November this year, where authors, publishers, intellectuals and artists worldwide will bring their experiences and expertise to this prominent event and partake in a vibrant cultural programme.
UNESCO has named Sharjah as the World Book Capital City for the year 2019 in recognition of the city’s continuous efforts in promoting books and literacy.

38वाँ शारजाह अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पुस्तक मेला 30 अक्टूबर से 9 नवंबर तक आयोजित किया जाएगा
शारजाह इंटरनेशनल बुक फेयर (SIBF) का 38 वां संस्करण इस साल 30 अक्टूबर से 9 नवंबर तक आयोजित किया जाएगा, जहां दुनिया भर के लेखक, प्रकाशक, बुद्धिजीवी और कलाकार इस प्रमुख कार्यक्रम में अपने अनुभव और विशेषज्ञता भाग लेंगे।
यूनेस्को ने शारजाह को किताबों और साक्षरता को बढ़ावा देने के शहर के निरंतर प्रयासों की मान्यता के लिए वर्ष 2019 के लिए विश्व पुस्तक राजधानी शहर का नाम दिया है।

2- Cognizant India appoints Ramkumar Ramamoorthy as new CMD
Cognizant Technology Solutions has appointed Ramkumar Ramamoorthy as Chairman and Managing Director of Cognizant India and named him head of India operations, Cognizant CEO Brian Humphries. Ramamoorthy will directly report to the company's executive committee. He has been with Cognizant for over two decades and was appointed as Executive Director of India operations in 2017.
कॉग्निजेंट इंडिया ने रामकुमार राममूर्ति को नया CMD किया नियुक्त
कॉग्निजेंट टेक्नोलॉजी सॉल्यूशंस ने रामकुमार राममूर्ति को कॉग्निजेंट इंडिया के अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक के रूप में नियुक्त किया है। राममूर्ति सीधे कंपनी की कार्यकारी समिति को रिपोर्ट करेंगे। वह दो दशकों से कॉग्निजेंट के साथ हैं और उन्हें 2017 में भारत के संचालन निदेशक के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया था।
3- DRDO to help ISRO with tech for India's 1st manned space mission
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on signed MoUs with ISRO to develop human-centric systems for India's first manned space mission Gaganyaan. DRDO will provide critical technologies including space food, survival kits for the crew, radiation protection equipment, among others. ISRO plans to launch the mission before the 75th anniversary of India's independence.
