3- Arunachal Pradesh State Home Minister Bamang Felix flagged of Five Anti-Riot police vehicle, also known as Vajra, from Police Headquarter in Itanagar. This is the first set of anti-riot vehicles introduced in the state police department. Vajra is a protected vehicle used by the police forces during riots and civil unrest.

5- Star India grappler Vinesh Phogat has bagged gold in women's 53kg category of the Poland Open wrestling tournament in Warsaw. The 24-year-old prevailed 3-2 over local wrestler Roksana in the final of the competition. This was her third consecutive gold in the 53 kg category after winning Gold at Grand Prix of Spain and at the Yasar Dogu International at Istanbul, Turkey last month.

6- RBI imposed a penalty of Rs 1.5 crore on Oriental Bank of Commerce for irregularities in providing information to Kingfisher. Punjab National Bank (PNB) was also fined PN 50 lakh for delayed reporting of account fraud by the central bank. Kingfisher Airlines ceased operations in 2012 amid mounting debt and losses.

8- Team India opener Rohit Sharma smashed his 106th six in T20I cricket during the second T20I against West Indies, setting the record of most sixes hit by a batsman in T20I cricket. The 32-year-old overtook West Indies all-rounder Chris Gayle, who has smashed 105 sixes.
