Former Bihar Chief Minister Dr. Jagannath Mishra passed away. Jagannath Mishra was ill for a long time. He took his last breath in his Delhi residence.
Dr. Jagannath Mishra had been the Chief Minister of Bihar three times. Doctor Mishra started his career as a professor. Later became Professor of Economics at Bihar University.
Jagannath Mishra joined the Indian National Congress while teaching at the University. He became the Chief Minister for the first time in 1975. The second time he was given the command in 1980 and the last time he was the Chief Minister of Bihar from 1989 to 1990. He was also a Union Cabinet Minister between the 90s. In Bihar, Dr. Mishra's name is known as big leaders. After leaving the Congress, he joined the Nationalist Congress Party.
बिहार के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री डॉक्टर जगन्नाथ मिश्र का निधन
बिहार के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री डॉक्टर जगन्नाथ मिश्र का निधन हो गया। लंबे समय से जगन्नाथ मिश्र बीमार चल रहे थे। उनका निधन दिल्ली स्थित आवास पर हुआ।
डॉ जगन्नाथ मिश्र बिहार के तीन बार मुख्यमंत्री रह चुके थे। प्रोफेसर के रूप में डॉक्टर मिश्र ने अपना करियर शुरू किया। बाद में बिहार विश्वविद्यालय में अर्थशास्त्र के प्रोफेसर बने। राजनीति में उनकी रुचि राजनीति बचपन से ही थी।
जगन्नाथ मिश्रा विश्वविद्याल में पढ़ाने के दौरान ही भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस में शामिल हुए। वह 1975 में पहली बार मुख्यमंत्री बने। दूसरी बार उन्हें 1980 में कमान सौंपी गई और आखिरी बार 1989 से 1990 तक बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री रहे। वह 90 के दशक के बीच केंद्रीय कैबिनेट मंत्री भी रहे। बिहार में डॉ मिश्रा का नाम बड़े नेताओं के तौर पर जाना जाता है। कांग्रेस छोड़ने के बाद, वह राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी में शामिल हो गए थे।
2- 5th Meeting of India-Nepal Joint Commission will be held in Kathmandu
The 5th Meeting of India-Nepal Joint Commission will be held in Kathmandu on 21- 22 August. Minister for External Affairs of Dr S. Jaishankar and Nepal’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali will co-chair the meeting and lead their respective delegations.
According to Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Joint Commission Meeting will review the overall state of bilateral relations and various areas of cooperation such as connectivity and economic partnership, trade and transit, power and water resources, culture, education and other matters of mutual interest.
India-Nepal Joint Commission was established in June 1987. Its meetings are held alternately in Nepal and India. The last meeting of Commission was held in New Delhi on October 2016.
During the visit, the Minister of External Affairs Dr Jaishankar will pay courtesy calls on President of Nepal Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Mr K P Sharma Oli. Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs will also host a dinner in honour of Dr Jaishankar.
भारत-नेपाल संयुक्त आयोग की 5 वीं बैठक काठमांडू में आयोजित की जाएगी
भारत-नेपाल संयुक्त आयोग की 5 वीं बैठक 21- 22 अगस्त को काठमांडू में होगी। डॉ एस जयशंकर और नेपाल के विदेश मामलों के मंत्री प्रदीप कुमार ग्यावली बैठक की सह-अध्यक्षता करेंगे और अपने संबंधित प्रतिनिधिमंडलों का नेतृत्व करेंगे।
नेपाल के विदेश मंत्रालय के अनुसार, संयुक्त आयोग की बैठक द्विपक्षीय संबंधों और सहयोग के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों जैसे कनेक्टिविटी और आर्थिक साझेदारी, व्यापार और परिवहन, बिजली और जल संसाधन, संस्कृति, शिक्षा और आपसी हित के अन्य मामलों की समीक्षा करेगी।
भारत-नेपाल संयुक्त आयोग की स्थापना जून 1987 में हुई थी। इसकी बैठकें नेपाल और भारत में बारी-बारी से आयोजित की जाती हैं। आयोग की अंतिम बैठक अक्टूबर 2016 को नई दिल्ली में आयोजित की गई थी।
यात्रा के दौरान, विदेश मंत्री डॉ. जयशंकर नेपाल की राष्ट्रपति बिद्या देवी भंडारी और प्रधानमंत्री श्री के पी शर्मा ओली से भेंट करेंगे।
3- Hima Das, Mohammad Anas win gold at Athleticky Mitink Reiter event
Top Indian sprinters Hima Das and Mohammad Anas have won a gold each in 300m races at the Athleticky Mitink Reiter event in Czech Republic. While Hima won the gold in women's event, Mohammad Anas claimed the yellow metal in men's category. This was Hima's sixth gold in 2019 in European races since July. Mohammad Anas won the gold clocking 32.41 seconds. India’s Nirmal Tom clinched a bronze medal in the same event by clocking a timing of 33.03 seconds.
हिमा दास, मोहम्मद अनस ने एथलेटिक मितिंक रीटर इवेंट में स्वर्ण पदक जीता
शीर्ष भारतीय स्प्रिंटर्स हिमा दास और मोहम्मद अनस ने 300 मीटर दौड़ में चेक गणराज्य में एथलेटिक मितिंक राइटर इवेंट में एक-एक स्वर्ण जीता है। महिलाओं की स्पर्धा में जहां हिमा ने स्वर्ण जीता, वहीं मोहम्मद अनस ने पुरुषों की श्रेणी में पीली धातु जीता। जुलाई से यूरोपीय दौड़ में 2019 में हेमा का यह छठा स्वर्ण था। मोहम्मद अनस ने 32.41 सेकंड में स्वर्ण पदक जीता। भारत के निर्मल टॉम ने उसी इवेंट में 33.03 सेकंड का समय के साथ कांस्य पदक जीता।
4- Khel Ratna for Deepa Malik and Bajrang Punia, Arjuna for Ravindra Jadeja
Para-athlete Deepa Malik will receive the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award this year along with wrestler Bajrang Punia. Deepa became the first Indian female athlete to win a Paralympics medal, when she won a silver at the 2016 Games. A previous recipient of Padma Shri & Arjuna Award, Deepa started her sports career at the age of 36 and won a silver in shot put in 2016 Rio Paralympics Games. Along with Deepa, Asian and Commonwealth Games gold-medallist Bajrang will also get the country's highest sporting honour. Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja is among 19 sportspersons who have been nominated for Arjuna Award by awards selection committee headed by Justice (Retd) Mukundakam Sharma.
दीपा मलिक और बजरंग पुनिया को खेल रत्न तथा रवींद्र जडेजा को अर्जुन पुरुस्कार से सम्मानित किया जायेगा
पैरा-एथलीट दीपा मलिक को इस साल पहलवान बजरंग पुनिया के साथ राजीव गांधी खेल रत्न पुरस्कार मिलेगा। दीपा 2016 के पैराओलंपिक खेलो में पदक जीतने वाली पहली भारतीय महिला एथलीट बनी। पद्म श्री और अर्जुन पुरस्कार से सम्मानित दीपा ने 36 साल की उम्र में अपने खेल करियर की शुरुआत की और 2016 के रियो पैरालिंपिक खेलों में शॉट पुट में रजत पदक जीता। दीपा के साथ ही एशियाई और राष्ट्रमंडल खेलों के स्वर्ण पदक विजेता बजरंग को देश का सर्वोच्च खेल सम्मान भी मिलेगा। क्रिकेटर रवींद्र जडेजा उन 19 खिलाड़ियों में शामिल हैं, जिन्हें जस्टिस (सेवानिवृत्त) मुकुंदकम् शर्मा की अध्यक्षता वाली पुरस्कार चयन समिति ने अर्जुन पुरस्कार के लिए नामांकित किया है।
