Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission Recruitment 2019 : Sub Inspector, Sergeant, Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct Recruitment & Ex-Serviceman)

BPSSC has released the notification for fresh vacancies in Bihar Police. As per notification 01/2019 for Bihar Police 2019 vacancy, a total of 2446 Police Sub-Inspector, Sergeant, Assistant Superintendent Jail and Assistant Superintendent Jail (Ex-Serviceman) would be recruited. Vacancy Details & Eligibility criteria

Age limit for the general or unreserved category is 20 - 37 years. The age limit for backward classes as well as for female candidates is 20 to 40 years. Also, the extension of age limit is applicable only for the candidates from Bihar. Candidates of other states, irrespective if their castes, would have to apply under unreserved category.

Candidates may please note that the age would be calculated as on January 1, 2019. Also, apart from the basic age limit, candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognized university/ institute. Also, candidates must have completed their graduation or equivalent examination and gotten the result on or before September 1, 2019.

How to apply

Candidates who are interested and eligible are required to apply online on the official website bpssc.bih.nic.in. The online application process would commence from Wednesday, August 22, 2019. Candidates are required to fill the forms by September 25, 2019. The fees would be payable online.

To apply online, candidates would be required to first register themselves using a mobile number and email address. Candidates are advised to provide a working mobile number and email address during registration. Also, these should continue to work till the recruitment process is not complete.
