Senior IAS officer Rajiv Kumar will be the new Finance Secretary. Mr Kumar, a 1984 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of Jharkhand cadre, is presently serving as Secretary in the Department of Financial Services.

4- Parliament has passed Companies (Amendment) Bill
Parliament has passed the Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2019, with the Rajya Sabha's approval. The Lok Sabha has already passed the bill. The Bill seeks to amend the Companies Act, 2013. It aims to tighten Corporate Social Responsibility-CSR compliance, transfer certain responsibilities to National Company Law Tribunal and recategorise certain offences as civil offences.
संसद ने कंपनियों (संशोधन) विधेयक को पारित कर दिया
संसद ने कंपनी (संशोधन) विधेयक, 2019 को राज्यसभा की मंजूरी के साथ पारित कर दिया है। लोकसभा पहले ही विधेयक पारित कर चुकी है। बिल कंपनी अधिनियम, 2013 में संशोधन करेगा। इसका उद्देश्य कॉर्पोरेट सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व-सीएसआर अनुपालन को कड़ा करना, राष्ट्रीय कंपनी कानून न्यायाधिकरण को कुछ जिम्मेदारियों को हस्तांतरित करना और कुछ अपराधों को नागरिक अपराधों के रूप में पुन: वर्गीकृत करना है।
