1-> Asian Development Bank cuts India’s GDP growth forecast to 7 per cent for FY20
Asian Development Bank lowered India's GDP growth forecast to 7 per cent for the current year on the back of fiscal shortfall concerns. India is expected to grow by 7 per cent in 2019 and 7.2 per cent in 2020, slightly slower than projected in April. Earlier in April this year too, the Manila-based multilateral funding agency had lowered India's growth forecast for 2019 to 7.2 per cent from 7.6 per cent estimated previously due to moderation in global demand and likely shortfall in revenue on the domestic front.
एशियन डेवलपमेंट बैंक के अनुसार वित्त वर्ष 2019 के लिए भारत की जीडीपी वृद्धि में 7 प्रतिशत की कमी का अनुमान
एशियन डेवलपमेंट बैंक (एडीबी) ने भारत की सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) की वृद्धि के अनुमान को घटाकर 7 प्रतिशत कर दिया है। एडीबी ने सरकार के राजस्व में कमी आने की चिंताओं के बीच अपने वृद्धि दर अनुमान को कम किया है। एशियन डेवलपमेंट आउटलुक 2019 नामक रिपोर्ट में एडीबी ने कहा है कि 2019 (वित्त वर्ष 2019-20) में भारत की आर्थिक वृद्धि दर 7 प्रतिशत और 2020 (वित्त वर्ष 2020-21) में 7.2 प्रतिशत रहने का अनुमान है, जो अप्रैल में व्यक्त किए गए अनुमान की तुलना में कम है।
2-> Cabinet approves Rs 1,600 cr for Dibang Multipurpose Project in Arunachal
PIB Union Cabinet has approved 1,600 crore rupees for Dibang Multipurpose Project in Arunachal Pradesh. The project is envisaged as a storage-based hydro-electric project with flood moderation as the key objective. The move is aimed at weeding out archaic and dead statutes which have lost their relevance. Cabinet also approved the doubling of a vital railway line connecting Guwahati with New Bongaigaon at a cost of 2,042 crore rupees. The project will be completed by 2022-23 and will be executed by the construction organisation of the Northeast Frontier Railway. It also cleared seven amendments to the insolvency law that seeks to put in place a 330-day deadline for the corporate resolution process.

पीआईबी केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने अरुणाचल प्रदेश में दिबांग बहुउद्देशीय परियोजना के लिए 1,600 करोड़ रुपये मंजूर किए हैं। इस परियोजना की परिकल्पना जल-विद्युत परियोजना के रूप में की गई है जिसमें प्रमुख उद्देश्य के रूप में बाढ़ नियंत्रण है। मंत्रिमंडल ने 2,042 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से गुवाहाटी को न्यू बोंगईगांव से जोड़ने वाली महत्वपूर्ण रेलवे लाइन के दोहरीकरण को भी मंजूरी दी। परियोजना 2022-23 तक पूरी हो जाएगी और इसे पूर्वोत्तर सीमांत रेलवे के निर्माण संगठन द्वारा निष्पादित किया जाएगा। पीआईबी केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने इनसॉल्वेंसी लॉ के सात संशोधनों को भी मंजूरी दे दी जो कॉरपोरेट रिज़ॉल्यूशन प्रक्रिया के लिए 330 दिन की समय सीमा तय करना चाहता है।
3- > Govt's ''Find the Incredible You'' campaign wins PATA award
The "Find the Incredible You" campaign of the Tourism Ministry, has won the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Award, 2019. The campaign focuses on digital and social media and the promotion of niche tourism products of the country. The campaign won the award under the "Marketing - Primary Government Destination" category. According to a statement, the Ministry of Tourism, as part of its promotional initiatives, annually releases Global Media Campaigns under the 'Incredible India' brand-line in the television, print, digital and social media platforms, in key and potential source markets overseas. To take the campaigns to the next level, the 'Incredible India 2.0' campaign was launched in September 2017. As part of the 2.0 campaign, five new television commercials were produced by the ministry, which were aired globally on television and social media.
PATA Gold Awards are given to tourism industry organizations and individuals making an outstanding contribution towards the successful promotion of the travel industry throughout the Asia Pacific Region.

पर्यटन मंत्रालय के "फाइंड द इनक्रेडिबल यू'' अभियान को पेसिफिक एशिया ट्रैवल एसोसिएशन (PATA) का गोल्ड अवार्ड, 2019 मिला है। अभियान डिजिटल और सोशल मीडिया और देश के अग्रिम पर्यटन उत्पादों के प्रचार पर आधारित है। इस अभियान ने "मार्केटिंग - प्राइमरी गवर्नमेंट डेस्टीनेशन" श्रेणी के अंतर्गत यह पुरस्कार जीता है। एक बयान के अनुसार, पर्यटन मंत्रालय अपनी प्रचार पहल के अंतर्गत, प्रति वर्ष 'इनक्रेडिबल इंडिया' ब्रांड के तहत ग्लोबल मीडिया कैंपेन को टेलीविजन, प्रिंट, डिजिटल और सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म, प्रमुख और संभावित स्रोत बाजारों में विदेशों में जारी कर रहा है। इस अभियान को अगले स्तर पर ले जाने के लिए, 'अतुल्य भारत 2.0' अभियान सितंबर 2017 में शुरू किया गया था। 2.0 अभियान के भाग के रूप में, मंत्रालय द्वारा पाँच नए टेलीविज़न विज्ञापनों का निर्माण कराया गया था, जिन्हें टेलीविजन और सोशल मीडिया पर विश्व स्तर पर प्रसारित किया गया था।

4-> Cabinet extends 15th Finance Commission's term up to Nov 30
Cabinet has approved the extension of the term of Fifteenth Finance Commission up to 30th November this year. It will enable the Commission to examine various comparable estimates for financial projections in view of reforms and the new realities to finalise its recommendations for the period 2020-2025.

कैबिनेट ने इस साल 30 नवंबर तक के लिए पंद्रहवें वित्त आयोग के कार्यकाल के विस्तार को मंजूरी दे दी है। यह आयोग को 2020-2025 की अवधि के लिए अपनी सिफारिशों को अंतिम रूप देने के लिए सुधारों और नई वास्तविकताओं के मद्देनजर वित्तीय अनुमानों के लिए विभिन्न तुलनीय अनुमानों की जांच करने में सक्षम करेगा।
5-> Athletics: Hima Das won the fourth gold in 15 days
Star Indian Sprinter Hema Das won her fourth gold medal in a fortnight by winning 200 meters in the Tabor Athletics Meet, held in the Czech Republic. She has won the fourth gold medal in 15 days. Hima won the race by completing the race in 23.25 seconds. Compatriot VK Wisemaya finished the race in 23.43 secs and placed second. National record holder Mohammad Anas in the men's section won the gold by taking 45.40 sec time in the 400m competition.
