1. ADB approves Rs 1,650 crore infrastructure projects in Tripura
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a project worth Rs 1,650 crore to develop infrastructure in seven district headquarter towns of Tripura.
The ADB will provide Rs 1,650 crore, out of which 80 per cent will be grant-in-aid and the state will have to repay 20 per cent loan in due course of time, he said.

एशियाई विकास बैंक (एडीबी) ने त्रिपुरा के सात जिलों में बुनियादी ढांचा विकसित करने के लिए 1,650 करोड़ रुपये की परियोजनाओं को मंजूरी दी है।
अधिकारी ने बताया कि एडीबी 1650 करोड़ रुपये देगा , जिसमें से 80 प्रतिशत राशि अनुदान के रूप में होगी और राज्य सरकार को 20 प्रतिशत कर्ज का भुगतान करना होगा।
2. Rajasthan's Suman Rao crowned Miss India World 2019
Suman Rao, a CA student from Rajasthan, emerged the winner of Miss India World 2019.
Chhattisgarh's Shivani Jadhav, an engineer by qualification, was crowned Miss Grand India 2019, while management student Shreya Shanker from Bihar won Miss India United Continents 2019 title.
Telangana's Sanjana Vij was adjudged as Miss India Runner Up 2019.

छत्तीसगढ़ की शिवानी जाधव जो कि इंजीनियरिंग की छात्रा हैं उन्हें मिस ग्रांड इंडिया 2019 का खिताब दिया गया है वहीं बिहार की श्रेया शंकर जो कि मैनेजमेंट की छात्रा हैं उन्हें मिस इंडिया यूनाइटेड कॉन्टिनेंट्स 2019 के खिताब से नवाजा गया।
तेलंगाना की संजना विज मिस इंडिया रनर अप 2019 रहीं।
3. Sr National Squash: Mangaonkar, Chinappa are champions
Top seeds Mahesh Mangaonkar and Joshna Chinappa lived up to their billing to emerge the men's and women's national champions at the 76th Senior National Squash Championship.
In the men's final, top seeded Mangaonkar outplayed second seeded Abhishek Pradhan 12-10, 11-7, 11-9 in an all Maharashtra battle.
Top seeded Joshna won her record 17th National squash title subduing her fighting Tamil Nadu colleague and giant killer Sunayna Kuruvilla 11-5, 11-4, 7-11, 11-5.
मंगांवकर और जोशना सीनियर राष्ट्रीय स्क्वाश में चैम्पियन बने
शीर्ष वरीय महेश मंगांवकर और जोशना चिनप्पा उम्मीदों के अनुरूप प्रदर्शन करते हुए 76वीं सीनियर राष्ट्रीय स्क्वाश चैम्पियनशिप में क्रमश: पुरूष और महिला राष्ट्रीय चैम्पियन बने।
पुरूष फाइनल में शीर्ष वरीय मंगांवकर ने दूसरे वरीय अभिषेक प्रधान को 12-10, 11-7, 11-9 से शिकस्त देकर शीर्ष स्थान हासिल किया।
वहीं महिला वर्ग में शीर्ष वरीयता प्राप्त जोशना ने रिकार्ड 17वां राष्ट्रीय स्क्वाश खिताब हासिल किया। इसके लिये उन्होंने फाइनल में तमिलनाडु की सुनयना कुरूविला को 11-5, 11-4, 7-11, 11-5 से मात दी।
