1. India Ratings lower GDP growth projection for FY20 to 7.3%
India Ratings and Research marginally lowered country's GDP growth projection for 2019-20 fiscal to 7.3 per cent mainly due to below normal monsoon prediction and loss of momentum in industrial output.
The Fitch group company had earlier projected India's gross domestic product (GDP) growth at 7.5 per cent.

औद्योगिक उत्पादन में गिरावट और मानसून के सामान्य से नीचे रहने के आसार के बीच 2019-20 में देश की आर्थिक वृद्धि दर 7.3 प्रतिशत रहने का अनुमान है। इंडिया रेटिंग्स एंड रिसर्च ने यह उम्मीद जताई।
इससे पहले आर्थिक वृद्धि 7.5 प्रतिशत रहने की उम्मीद जताई गई थी।
2. Kalpataru completes acquisition of 85 pc stake in Swedish firm for USD 24 mn
Engineering firm KPTL arm Kalpataru Power Transmission Sweden AB has completed acquisition of 85 per cent stake in Linjemontage i Grastorp AB for USD 24 million (around Rs 167 crore).
कल्पतरू ने स्वीडन की कंपनी में 85 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी का अधिग्रहण किया
इंजीनियरिंग कंपनी केपीटीएल की इकाई कल्पतरू पावर ट्रांसमिशन स्वीडन एबी ने लिंजेमोन्टाज आई ग्रासटोर्प में 2.4 करोड़ डालर (करीब 167 करोड़ रुपये) में 85 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी के अधिग्रहण की प्रक्रिया पूरी कर ली है।

Maharashtra NCP MLA Hanumant Dolas died. He was 57.
Dolas represented Malshiras Assembly constituency in Solapur district, in the state Legislative Assembly.

महाराष्ट्र के राकांपा विधायक हनुमंत डोलास का निधन हो गया। वह 57 वर्ष के थे।
डोलास राज्य विधानसभा में सोलापुर जिले में मलशिरास विधानसभा क्षेत्र का प्रतिनिधित्व कर रहे थे।
4. Huawei Jumps Ahead of Apple in Tough Smartphone Market: IDC
According to preliminary data from the International Data Corporation (IDC), China-based Huawei outsold Apple's iPhones in the first quarter of this year, seizing the California company's second place spot in the smartphone market. Korea's Samsung is still on the first place.

5. China Nepal sign protocol to operationalise key transit treaty to access Chinese ports
China and Nepal have signed a protocol to operationalise their 2016 Transit and Transport Agreement (TTA) which will enable the landlocked Himalayan country to access Chinese sea and land ports for its foreign trade ending Nepal's dependence on India for goods and trade.
नेपाल, चीन ने पारगमन समझौते को अमल में लाने के लिये संधि पत्र पर किये हस्ताक्षर
चीन और नेपाल ने 2016 में किये गये पारगमन और परिवहन समझौते (टीटीए) को अमल में लाने के लिये संधि पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर किये हैं। इस समझौते से हिमालयी देश को अपने विदेशी व्यापार के लिये चीनी समुद्री तथा भूमि बंदरगाहों का रास्ता लेने की सुविधा होगी।
